Most Trouble You Ever Got Into at a Sport's Game?

Oh, man, sooooo many.

People here get really crazy during football games, but it's always super fun to still go. The worst one, though, has to be when I played high school basketball, and a guy on my bench kept hassling the opponents. During halftime as we were taking breaks in the sidelines (there were no lockers in that school, outdoor court and all that), two of them came over and told my coach and captain that they should keep that guy quiet, to which my coach replied that he's just trying to mess with their heads and they should toughen up, because it's working (my coach is a bit of an ass, by the way). So one of the opponents takes a swing, and soon both teams are just going at it. I had speared a guy (I have no idea how to fight then, so pro wrestling was the one thing I knew how to do), and was sitting on top of him and trying to ground and pound him when I got hit from behind by something. Before I knew it the fight was over as all the teachers, coaches and players from the other teams had separated us, so I basically missed the whole thing. Still pretty crazy, though, there were police and everything, and both our schools got suspended from playing for the rest of the year.

There was also this one time at a ONE FC event, when my friend laughed and pointed at one of those idiots that start shadow boxing when they see the crowd camera on them. The guy, looked around, saw the source of the laughter, and jumped over the guardrail with a few of his buddies into the VIP section we were sitting in. We were just above the floor section, and they were yelling god knows what, and him and a couple of my other friends being delightful little douchebags just kept egging them on because they saw security running as fast they can to deal with these guys. They got tossed out and my friends were pretty proud of themselves for that.

When playing it was probably a rugby game. I was pretty quick when I was younger and used to play on the wing. The team we were playing was thrashing us 63-7 or something when the ball broke to their guy on the half way line. He ran for the line. I was on the other flank, closed in about 30 metres on him and when he was about a yard from the line I pulled him down from behind around his throat.

Penalty try and probably would have been worse for me if we weren't getting tonked and it was the last minute.

When I used to play footy, I once got a six-match ban for headbutting. Very harsh. If I remember rightly though, I played through the suspension and just pretended to be a different player. :shifty:

I'm usually well behaved as a fan apart from excessive swearing. I'm much more aggresive when watching rugby rather than football though.

Had to run up Beeston Hill once when Millwall fans started launching anything and everything they could get their hands on.

Once got kept in for ages at Carlisle so we all ran on to the field and kicked a gate down so we could get out.

Been kicked out of a few pubs for being too drunk after matches too.

Not me personally but a friend of mine said something minor to a player leaving the field that got blown up into this big massive thing and made the media and so on, Footage is floating around youtube still I think.

Ace knows the go. (No it wasn't Ace, But I'm sure us and Plubby will have a decent crack at it somewhere in the future)

I once feared for the safety of the coach I was on when a psychopathic Newcastle fan kept punching it and wouldn't stop.

I just remembered as well, we was in a preseason match and I stuck a foot out but it was clear I didn't touch the guy, he dived won a freekick and scored. I kinda started ranting at the ref got booked for it so said I'd give him an excuse to give a freekick. So completely took out the guy who dived in front of the ref later on in the match, didn't give away a freekick or got booked. Called the ref more names then finally got sent off. If we had subs for that match I would have been off earlier completely lost my head that match and regretted it afterwards.

I live in Reading and back in their Championship days I went to the Madjeski to watch them against Sunderland. Like a few others I wore my Newcastle shirt and when I got a call from my Sunderland supporting friend in the away end, I picked him out of the crowd, stood up, gave my shirt a wee shine and him the wanker sign. Forgot about the other 2000 Mackems. Oops.

It caused a small riot and I had to be escorted from the stadium. People were trying to get past stewards to get at me.
