Of course you were.

My mom was an Earnhardt fan, but my father and I always rooted against him. But I was shocked when it was killed. The sport hasn't been the same since.

And no, I couldn't understand Ward, either.

One of the drivers on the XFINITY series has a Back The Blue car.

Like, if you wanted to go hey I want to support Firefighters, you could do something different. If you want to go at all first responders, you could do something different. This is just tone deaf ignorance and clearly a shot at Bubba Wallace for his BLM car.

Oh, that's exactly what it is. And I hope that car goes into the wall asap. Now is NOT the time to be supporting the police specifically with what's going on.

I was saying this with Forky, but I don't think he's as solid of a Hall of Famer as some people make him out.

He has no championships and two less wins than Carl Edwards and only three more than Ricky Rudd, neither in the Hall. I get he was popular and beloved, considering who his dad was and that he was an underdog (despite racing most of his career with one of, if not the, most successful owner ever). I'm not saying he shouldn't go in eventually, and he shouldn't have to wait until he's 115 like Red Farmer, but his actual numbers aren't all that impressive.

I definitely believe he's a Hall of Famer (and that its a fucking crime that Ricky Rudd still isn't), but lets face it: He's only getting in this fast for one reason: His name and lineage. If he was Bob Johnson Jr (and not released to Junior or Jimmie), do you really think he'd be in this quick?

At least 80% of the people who respond to NASCAR posts on Facebook either don't care about anything that has negative impacts on the sport, or as just good old garden variety racist pieces of trash. Some even support the `theory' (and by `theory', I mean `horseshit') that Bubba put the noose there himself. Too many motherfuckers who support the Confederate flag, also. Unforunately, also a few asshats who don't even watch the sport who felt the need to respond and call all NASCAR fans racists.
