Yeah, I think the whole "Playing at a bunch of places at the same time" thing was as a parallel to the typical "How can Santa be at all these Malls at once...?" question.

I don't think that anyone didn't get that part of the joke. If everyone else who was confused is like me, they're probably wondering why it was Slash, as opposed to what it meant. I know what it meant, I got that part of the joke, but why Slash? I went online afterwards to see if something happened that would make him a comedic target for Parker and Stone, but nothing has happened recently... so why Slash?

That was a fun episode, I liked that the melody of the Wunterslash song was actually the same as one of our "Sinterklaas" songs, the same Sinterklaas Santa Claus is based off.

exactly. I get it being a Santa comparison ... but in May? and why Slash? it just didn't seem to fit with everything else that was going on in the episode.

I'm with everyone else, I thought it was funny - not hilarious, but funny - but I didn't get the Slash thing, the only thing I can think of is he is playing a lot of random gigs (Superbowl for instance), making lots of appearances on other people's albums, etc:

Also, anyone notice that, according to Stan, they're now 10? It might not be the first time it's been referenced but its the first time I've noticed it. 5th grade coming in the second half of the series?

Why the fuck are people analyzing the Slash thing so much? It was just a bit thrown in there to be silly, good god.

^ This x1000. South Park sometimes just likes to pick on people for no reason. If you don't realize this, then you really haven't been watching the show for that long.

I thought it was hilarious, I was just wondering if there was some reasoning behind it or not. Some of the funniest things they've ever done have been things that just don't make any sense.

okay this is an episode that didn't feature the main characters much done right. Butters was hilarious as usual. Big Rig Butters and Pornstar Butters made me lol. the Chinese/Japanese sublot was good and it tied together well.
