Guangzhou Evergrande have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for €72m, reports Sina Sports. Aubameyang was linked with a move to China last summer – Tianjin Quanjian wanted to secure his services – and it appears as though he will head east this month. According to Sina Sports, Guangzhou Evergrande are in advanced negotiations with Dortmund over a €72m move to sign the Gabon international.

Sunderland will complete the signing of Jake Clarke-Salter on loan from Chelsea later today, according to Sky sources. The England U20 international defender travelled to Wearside for a medical yesterday, after featuring for Chelsea against Norwich in the FA Cup on Saturday.

'Featuring' is a little strong, considering two youth players came off the bench and he wasn't one of them. :shifty:

Leicester City are close to completing their first transfer of this window, with the signing of Mali forward Fousseni Diabate from Gazalec Ajaccio, Sky Sports News understands. A fee has been agreed for the 22-year-old who can play as a striker or winger. He will initially join up with Leicester’s under-23s squad, but could also feature for the first-team this season, if he impresses as much as Leicester’s scouts hope.

They wouldn't have signed him if he had though, he'd be cup tied. :shifty:

I know I'm being pedantic, but wouldn't he be their second?

Also, Coutinho to Barca is complete.

One might ask whether charging £35 million for a player who you knew could not play "a single minute" prior to a window when you'd accept £15 million for him was nonsense in itself.

Or, you know, just learn to deal with the realities of how markets work.

How the FA can look at what's happening at Wolves and not believe it to be more than a little bit dodgy I've no idea...well, I do, because it's the FA, but my point stands.

Jorge Mendes may as well be the chairman, director of football and manager at that club. Maybe his face will be on the badge next season.

Aw man. Does that mean we no longer have a chance to see a repeat of this?
