I'm really enjoying the game so far. I'm maybe 5 1/2 hours in and it's a blast so far. It's got a nice refreshing style about it and it's easily the best game available that's come out since Uncharted 2.

Just keep in mind that the Mass Effect games are actually RPG/FPS hybrids. Yeah I know, that's why it's appealing to me. Straight up RPG's just aren't that good anymore in my opinion. I'm much happier playing Mass Effect 2 and then getting Super Mario RPG on the Wii to quench the RPG thirst. I'd really like to get into the new Final Fantasy coming up but I've never been into 3D RPG's that just have you wandering around the same scenery for hours on end as you stumble to find what you're supposed to do.

I'm going to grab this on Saturday. I've been looking for something to play besides Modern Warfare 2 and my Live Arcade games. I had Assassin's Creed II but I just can't bring myself to play it for whatever reason. I'm just going to trade it in and get Mass Effect 2. I've been really wanting to get a solid RPG game to really get into and this seems like the right one.

Uncharted 2 was the best game of the year in my opinion. I had a blast playing through it and couldn't wait to play it again after every time I stopped. Modern Warfare 2 is my pick for the best multiplayer game but probably wouldn't be in my overall top 5 games of the year. I also really enjoyed Ghostbusters as well as the New Super Mario Bros. Wii game. I have Assassin's Creed II but have only played a tiny bit of it. It looks great though and I'm hoping to get into it soon.

Recently I've watched a lot of stuff but I won't go through an extensive list, just a couple of things. Brothers - 9/10 I really liked this movie. I didn't think it would be as good. I figured it'd be better than average but you get three really strong performances in it. I'm going to have to check out the original if I can get it with subtitles. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 1 - 9/10 Really good show and one that I was sad to see canceled. I'm a massive Terminator fan and just finished getting all the movies on Blu-Ray to watch. I'm in the middle of the last season right now and it looks to be ending really well as I didn't see it when it was on TV. Leon - 8.5/10 I rented the new extended version Blu-Ray from Netflix and quite enjoyed it. The scenes that are added probably shouldn't have been deleted from the original version as they give some pretty good filling to the general story.

About me buying the Wii, I gave up on the PS3 as a games system as you can basically get everything on the 360. I'll continue to get the PS3 exclusives I want. The Wii though has games you can only get on that system. I've been having a blast with the new Super Mario Bros. game. I still really like the PS3 but right now it's better as a movie player for me.

I've pretty much given up on my PS3 as far as gaming goes. I love the system but it's working out much better as a Blu-Ray/DVD player in my bedroom. I traded in all my PS3 games over the weekend and bought a Wii. I'll just grab the exclusives from now on like God of War III.

The Girl Next Door (2004) - 8/10 For some reason I really like this movie. It's got some funny as hell moments and Elisha Cuthbert was perfect in her role. The Silence of the Lambs - 8.5/10 I finally got around to watching this from the beginning all the way through. Fantastic thriller film that I'll probably end up adding to my collection at some point.

I totally agree with you on the expert difficulty. I don't think I'll ever get more than 2-3 stars on each song outside of Boom Boom Tap which was quite easy to 5 star. The game certainly has a lot of challenge to it.

Up - 9.5/10 Really good movie and the best animated one I've seen in forever. Lots of laughs but also a sort of grounded reality to it with all the emotional stuff going on. Even though there's an awesome talking dog and floating houses. Sunshine Cleaning - 9/10 I had no idea that it would be as good as it was. I rented it just because it looked interesting, actually my idea of what it was about was way off from what it really is. Amy Adams does a very good job basically being the sole leading actor in the film with everyone else around her. She should really do more things like this.

I had the same problem. You're actually supposed to just run past everyone as quickly as possible. Just fire from the hip and knife guys along the way.

I know what you mean. I've always preferred Live's gameplay over 2K's but I'm quite liking this years game. It's a bit hard to get used to and I still can't do moves in the paint very well but it's fun.

I grabbed it at midnight with some friends and played for a while today and will be playing again tonight. Multiplayer is quite fun but some people have to ruin it by thinking it's real and not just a video game.

I'm really enjoying 2K10. Though it was a bad time to get the game with so much else coming out. The presentation is fantastic with all the little special graphics for holidays and stuff. I fired up a franchise with the Knicks and am having a blast with it. I traded away Eddie Curry and a 1st round pick to the Cavs for Big Z. I really needed a centre which made up for the fact I was losing a pick. It balanced out though after the Jazz offered me Okur and their first round pick for Al Harrington. Harrington was basically dead weight and a big contract. Easily replaced by Milicic and Hill. Gallinari is a beast in the game. I'm easily getting 28-35 points a game with him. Sadly his my only real scorer as I've last my last few games.

Law Abiding Citizen - 8.5/10 I really didn't expect to see this and actually ended up seeing it by chance but I'm glad I did. Pretty neat film even though it's kind of out there plausibility-wise. Butler is really quite good in his role.

The opening to tonights episode, the Halloween party, had to be one of the best openings the show has ever had.

I only saw part of the episodes and had never seen Whale Wars so I didn't quite get it but the best part by far was Cartman singing Lady Gaga.

Apparently the update concerns some sort of Wi-Fi deal. The facebook/twitter stuff comes next month.

It was an absolute robbery, no doubt about it. Rua did everything he was supposed to do to stop Machida. He hurt him, countered him, and didn't let him control the fight. Rua flat out won the fight. As soon as Buffer said Machida's name, everyone here just lost it. Including a big Machida fan. We just stared at the TV in disgust and shock. Rua didn't win every round, but he won three of them. At this point I'm just fed up with the UFC. I'm getting Lesnar/Carwin and that's it for a good long time.

The Hall of Fame is attached to career mode.

The Score - 8.5/10 One of my favorite movies but one I hadn't watched in a while. Really good heist movie and it's got some strong performances from Edward Norton and Robert De Niro. Not the greatest movie but for whatever reason I just really enjoy it. Also over the past week I got to see both the theatrical and original cut of Paranormal Activity. I prefer the theatrical cut myself but it seems like some of the scenes that were cut from the original really should have been left in as they explain some pieces of dialog in the theatrical version. I hope they include all three endings on the DVD as it doesn't seem like the third one was really seen outside of one showing of the film at a festival. Also it's a shame to know that when it comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray that it won't have the same effect as watching it with people. Just one of those movies like Cloverfield that was so much better inside a theater. Saw VI - 7.5/10 I'll add this as an edit since I was the last one to post in the thread. Some friends and I went to a midnight showing and it was pretty enjoyable. Some good traps and deaths and just overall good. I'm a sucker for the Saw movies so I probably enjoyed this more than just the average horror fan would. It sets up Saw VII to be quite the interesting film and potential finale to the series.

Yeah you really need to adjust the sliders this year. Right now I'm on hard with all the reversals knocked down one notch I think. I still get reversed but I can actually get offense in as well. Actually it seems like you'll go through periods where nothing works and then you'll finally hit something and it's all offense. Making it more like a real match. I had a crazy back and forth match between Kozlov and Christian last night. Probably lasted 15 minutes or so.

I cannot get past the first match in the CAW Road to Wrestlemania. That four way which turns into a five way, just cannot do it. I must have spent an hour on it last night trying to beat it. Anyone have any tips?
