Arsenal played brilliantly last night, it's such a difference when Odegaard plays. Him, Saka and Saliba were all immense last night. Taking a team as strong as Sporting are, having never lost all season till now, and making them look average was a big surprise. Negatives are that match shows yet again how infuriating terminally-online "fans" are. Sporting are a really good team, Gyokeres is on fire and they put City to the sword earlier, and we played the first half like a training session. To read some of twitter this morning you'd think it was an outrage we didn't win 9-0. People seem to think it's a failure that we spent 10 minutes at the start of the 2nd half defending, while also suggesting Gyokeres is a bum because we kept him quiet. Anyway, it was a great game. And haha city as well.

I'm not steely enough to cope with that kind of pressure.

I love love loved the original Dead Rising but I don't think I'm in the headspace for games these days with stressful deadlines/time limits/what have you. The first 3 were all great but I've had the DR2 Frank remake installed on my PS5 for fuckin ages and can't bring myself to actually touch it.

I'd have been upset to lose that one, but we really didn't do enough to win. Chelsea aren't the banter team they have been lately, and they missed sitters same as us, so a draw is fair. Think this season is just a year too far for us with regards to the title, doesn't matter whether it's Liverpool or City, we just aren't at the races this time. Odegaard has been our biggest loss so it's understandable we'd struggle, but we really need a striker. Jesus is done for and Trossard has been off the boil all season. Just need to settle for the Champions League

Agatha All Along went from "who asked for this?" to potentially the best show they've put out yet. Really enjoyed it.

I've had a good whine about refs shafting us, I don't think it's a conspiracy as much as they're all just uniformly terrible. There's been genuine cause for anger over some of the decisions that get made against us that don't happen to other teams, but it's also true that other teams get shafted in ways we don't. The standard of refereeing and the consistency is legitimately absurd for a league of this size, but it affects everyone. It's easy to feel with all obvious bias that comes with it that Arsenal have been punished more harshly and more regularly than others because that's the team I watch.

Arsenal were fantastic in the first half. Deserved the lead, and if Havertz was a bit more composed we could have been 4 up. Gabi XLs injury changed the game, our thrown together defense did well to earn the point but once again, the refereeing was shocking. Ref stares right at Van Dijk kicking out at Havertz off the ball, twice, and just tuts. Could argue the penalty on Martinelli was soft but if that's the case, how the fuck was Kiwior called a foul when Havertz scored at the end? Was dreading the game beforehand but honestly, I don't think Liverpool would have posed any danger in the slightest if we were able to start/keep Saliba, Gabi and Timber on the pitch. (Obviously they had players out too) Losing Odegaard was my nightmare scenario when the season started, I think we've clearly played a level below ourselves but I'm happy that we're still in about it.
