  1. I always liked the singles from Coldplay, but never felt the need to listen to a whole album. My music tastes have changed slightly over the last year and this is the first Coldplay album I've really enjoyed. I haven't heard of any of the other bands so it'll give me a chance to listen to some new stuff.
  2. Inkheart I didn't expect much going into the flick, but overall it made some nice fun viewing. I like Paul Bitanny a lot, and he was quite the stand-out in the film, for me anyway. Andy Serkis and Brendan Fraiser were pretty good on the whole, and Hellen Mirren puts in a fun little performance. Though, I felt the girl was under-whelming. The film was always going to be hard with copyright issues and such, but overall it's just a good bit of fun. *** V for Vendetta This has to be the third of forth time I've watched this film and I still love it to death. The story and the characters are top notch, the visuals are fantastic and the action sequences are beautiful. Natalie Portman does a pretty damn good job here, but the cast around her really contribute to the film. The V character is so brilliant. ****1/2

    The Fixer

Back in March ITV ran a six part series called The Fixer starring Andrew Buchan (Cranfield), Tamzin Outhwaite, Jody Latham, Peter Mullan and Liz White. The show is about an Ex-special forces operative and convicted murderer John Mercer is awarded an early release from prison on the condition that he becomes an assassin for the government. I really, really dug the first series which is out on DVD and it's really worth buying for about £15. The show is created from the people who created Spooks, Hustle and Life on Mars. I was very excited to see Season Two be announced by ITV, it may be old news to some, but I recently found out. I hope the show can only progress from where it left off. Anyone else watch the first series?
  4. 'In My Arms' By Snow Patrol. I'll probably think of quite a few later. 'Till I Collapse' Off Eminem's Third Album was damn catchy. As I said I'm sure I'll think of some more soon.
  5. I actually quite like Britney and I like Womanizer, it's just pretty catchy. After watching the X-Factor show I thought, even with lip-syncing, the whole thing looked fantastic. It's good to see her look good again, and her daces for her tracks are pretty fun.
  6. Glad to see Atticus Finch and Randle McMurphey getting good showings, I really dug both of those characters and were instantly memorable. All in all, I don't think the list's that bad at all other than the odd piece of misplaced shit it seems pretty fair.
  7. Finidi George was awful. That summer we sold Richard Wright brought in Serini and spent the rest of our money George. Who was a crock of shit.

    Thor The Movie

Triple H was once pegged by one website to be Mister Sinister if X-Men ever did a movie with him in.
  9. I prefered Time Splitters 2 to Future Perfect personally, but both are TOP, TOP quality. I'd also recomend Red Faction 2, I had so much damn fun playing that with my mates.
  10. Cheers when I get some time I'll look into them. Much appreciated.
  11. Really enjoying 'Human' By The Killers, and 'Hot 'N' Cold' By Katy Perry. Some good catchy tracks. I like how The Killers seem to try different things with each album they do. I wasn't big on their last album, but I'm digging their new song.
  12. Can someone point me in the direction of some new music. I'm basically into anything. But I dig bands like Cobra Starship, Panic at The Disco and would like to discover some new decent bands in that style. But I'm really open to anything. So EWB help me out, please?
  13. The first bit was a little odd, but I'm really quite looking forward to the movie. And I'm not exactly a big Treckie's fan or a Treckie geek but it looks pretty good. And I really dig Zachary Quinto.
  14. Also, some of those posters are badass. Rorscach and The Comedian being my favourite two. I'm really, really hyped for this movie.
  15. Totally. Out of interest, are there any other game modes from those that were on the BETA? Because six seems quite small. And please, please, please say Team Tactical is a game mode. Please?
  16. I played and LOVED the BETA version so I'll definitely be picking this up for Christmas. What're the other maps like, on the beta you could only play Makin, Roundhouse or Castle. Also, what game modes are there?
  17. Deck The Halls with Danny Devito was honestly awful, just a drizzling pile of shit. It wasn't funny, the plot was crap, and it was just general piss.
  18. I haven't been to too many gigs, but Fall Out Boy; Supported By Cobra Starship and Shiny Toy Guns probably wins it over for me. I was looking forward to the gig, but while STG were decent, Cobra Starship were the real stand out for me. I really dug their music, and they sounded really good live, well in my opinion. One of the only bands I've really discovered at a gig. Fall Out Boy were good, better than I expected, but I think CS just out did them. I had a really good time, and just got into the music.
  19. Batman Dectives: R.I.P story is fantastic. I'm absoloutley loving it right now, I can't wait for the conclusion comic next month. Seriously, recomending this to all Batman fans, it's superb.
