Whoever gets Bluey for Secret Santa can buy him the DVD! I hope the DVD extras are a montage of clips of Spurs fans realising their Top 4 ambitions are cut short yet again. -

I'm happy whatever happens this season, as we did the treble over the fucking Spuds. -

I've been listening to 'Phosphorescent - Muchacho' on repeat lately. It's a lovely album.

Do we have a recommend music topic? If so, sorry. One of my friend's always has instrumental music on in her flat. Kinda like rainforesty sounds with Arabic singing. Are there any songs/bands you'd recommend for that kinda vibe? Chill-out music without many lyrics?

Hart, Foster, Forster Shaw, Baines, Johnson, Walker, Jagielka, Caulker, Cahill, Lescott Barkley, Wilshere, Gerrard, Lallana, Carrick, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sterling, Henderson Rooney, Rodriguez, Sturridge, Welbeck Most are pretty obvious choices, but I'd take Lescott as Smalling/Jones tend to be error prone. On the biggest stage in the world, I'd rather have Lescott as a back-up than to think one of the others is going to come on. A midfield stacked with young, energetic players - with the reliable Carrick to fall back on. I was debating between Henderson/Milner to have another back-up. I'd not take risks on people like Morrison at the World Cup. Players like that are absolute liabilities.

The Winter Paralympics is insane. The skiiers have absolute balls of steel, as they're speeding down a slope with blacked out goggles with just a guide saying brief instructions. Also, ice-sledge hockey is badass.

I hope West Ham keep their current form up. We're magnificent at the moment! -
I found Uncle so meh. I only watched the first two, as I found it only moderately funny and a bit average. Bad Education has set the bar too high for BBC3 comedies!

Not really. West Ham have always suffered from the Bentley Brigade and stupid stuff like ridiculous gambling in the dressing room. If Allardyce has spotted that one person has an extremely negative impact upon the behaviour of the team, he's got to get rid of them. (And I'm jumping to conclusions here, mainly because Ravel Morrison is known for being a bit of a cunt) Either that or we can't be fucked paying the £25k a game fee for a player that's not helping *that* much. -
Someone call me back to this thread when there's a highlight reel of people stacking it.

I just watched Inside Llewyn Davies. It's just so average, which is a shame as I was really looking forward to it. The songs are lovely, and I'd happily adopt that cat, but I think I preferred Once for folksy movies. Next stop: National Treasure 1 and 2.

But metalman's whole point is there is no point in aiming for 2.00 (which you'd presume would be CL based on your fascinating, in-depth statistics) when four other teams may get more than that. His setting of 2.00 per game is an obvious 'I want Top 4' decision, so why not just say that? -

Regardless of whether they get Champions League football, Man Utd will always be able to attract bigger name players than Liverpool. They've got the name value and can spend more on wages. Maybe they'll also join the fun and pinch some of Liverpool's potential signings too. -

Maybe better targeting an already established partnership. Otherwise he's risking his new two big-name CBs don't mesh well together. -

This will be a true test of Moyes' skills. Every other manager knows he has an urgent need for players and quite a large budget. I have a feeling he will be held for ransom, unless his deals are done in advance, like Zouma to Chelsea. -

Man, they're only getting around to writing season three of The Bridge now. I can't wait that long to find out what happens next!

Nebraska has now leaked, so you can watch that now!

Without wanting to derail this topic, how do you use Letterboxd? As in, with Goodreads, I went back and literally graded every book I could ever remember reading. Did you do the same with Letterboxd, or is it more of a 'going forward' thing? Also, is there any real benefits to having more reviews on there? Like, with Goodreads, it shapes recommendations. You can put every film you've ever watched there. Some people have about 4,000 films on there. I use it more going forward just to track what I'm watching, and as benkid said, be able to see what my 'Movie of the Year' is.
