Oh, so it's just like real life.
  2. I lost 30-0 to the Eagles. I'm going to have to figure out offense entirely if I'm going to apparently even score POINTS in this league. On the upside, I think I only threw 2 INTs, but only because I threw about 10 times.
  3. Elaborate. Also, I have skipped preseason. You guys that are ready to go can play your games, the other three guys, just release your guys before you play your first game. As in, do we sign free agent QB backups that aren't called by someone else that are lower overall than our starters? Like, I just signed Seneca Wallace because no one took him and he's lower overall than Tyrod. Is that cool?
  4. I just did that thing that I needed to do. Also, after this is adjusted, what does this mean for the QBs left, by the way?

Yes! I got frustrated and turned off the game trying to do those. I was like that during the Hell in a Cell match between HBK/Taker, which was me frantically hitting stair shots onto Taker until the cinematic and then frantically trying to avoid Taker's signature and STILL needing a Sweet Chin Music to beat him. Kind of rewarding to beat, all things considered, though.

Yeah, I could set them as inactive (which apparently is in the game because John Laurinaitis was built into the game but then was storyline fired). I'll be able to tell better if there's all the unlockable stuff in one download like last year, but I don't think there will be annoying things like Demolition challenging for the tag titles for no reason.

I'm actually on the boat towards similarities to '12, although I never minded diving back into that game. It feels like an experience that is cool, but might bore me after a point. The changes to Universe mode are way more rewarding, though. I like it better that I just have the belts as options and not a case of "EVERYONE HAS A DAMN TITLE AND IT MAKES ENTRANCES ANNOYING." I hope the next generation does something with the announcing, though. There's so much potential to breathe life into something like Universe mode simply by commentary, since obviously it's a bit difficult to tell stories in-game without relying on the loads of time it takes to put in text dialogue.
  8. Yeah, keeping mine and taking the world by storm. Tyrod Taylor, world beater, Cleveland.
  9. This excites me. I'm trirby, the man that will lead Tyrod Taylor to the house. (Although, I'm probably changing this when the acceptable list gets in.)
  10. I'm kind of happy I didn't see Redefine Sick's post about Neutral Milk Hotel or I would've made a crack on "that dude with a bloody Mick Foley avatar" telling me that twee indie sucks. And I don't hate much of this list, really. I think a band like Fleetwood Mac deserves another look. There's some great pop songs underneath all the copious drug use and "The Chain" is a splendidly constructed song. And clearly Frank Sinatra should've been #1 for his use as an ostrich namesake in Fiasco!
  11. Amy Poehler on that Freestyle Rap battle bit is truly is still remarkable.

  12. Dirty Work full stop. From a modern perspective, it would've gotten 17% on Rotten Tomatoes and it was a financial failure, yet was a perfect encapsulation of Norm MacDonald's style of comedy. It was by far a better film than everything else he starred in afterwards. (This could also be the part where we praise The Norm Show.)
  13. Are you guys just getting that? Yeah, I watched the pilot and jesus, it is awful. Hampered by the bad timing of "rich dudes doing rich dude stuff" in the midst of Occupy and things of that sort, but they somehow manage to make Ben Schwartz, Don Cheadle, and Kristen Bell unlikable in 30 minutes time, which is probably bumfuck impossible.
  14. Perfect Couples. Which I get why people may have been turned off from it in that it was probably the second worst show in NBC's lineup (of Community, 30 Rock, P&R, The Office, and Outsourced), but was totally a fun barrier between the shows I really liked in that lineup.
  15. To be honest, I only have really turned on Smith since I listened to some of his podcasts post Smodcast era (and even later-SModCasts after Zack and Miri bombed) and realized he's just not that bright, really. I mean, he's hardly dumb, but he always feels like he's just a vaguely boring guy who just sort of says "and cocks" and "and shit" when his contemporaries are more or less taking a step back and putting out quality product. I say this not having seen Red State or Cop Out, however, so his films might not hold the same bit of malaise I have for the podcast stuff.
  16. American Beauty. I can never even finish it, it's so annoying. Also banked on that "isn't the suburbs really just a nightmare where your cartoonishly bitchy wife and family hates you and you want to fuck the cheerleader?" idea like everyone would respond "yes." The performances are fine considering the material, but genuinely everything that happens in it feels utterly vile and the point's long since been reached. Then again, I'm finding myself to be this way to Alan Ball material other than Six Feet Under as of late. (And Towelhead might be a more annoying example of Alan Ball's "whoops the suburbs are evil" mentality.)
  17. YES. By the way, wasn't the weird boob mandate of HBO made even weirder on Treme when, umm, the former Tiffany from WWE is the naked one?
  18. OH NO DID SOMETHING HAPPEN TO RICK MARTEL AND/OR TITO SANTANA!? :((((

I would join in the joke, if the message didn't make me worry and sad for a moment. :(

  19. So Death Grips tweeted last night that they were putting out their album later tonight for free after apparently being peeved that the label decided to push it back to "later next year" after they made an ARG and teasers promising the album on October 23rd. Oh also, the album's cover is an erect penis with NO LOVE DEEP WEB on it. I'll avoid posting that because I'm really uncertain how that works. http://twitter.com/deathgripz has the album stream (or outright download). It's as wonderfully abrasive as I thought it would be.
