  1. Sherlock is quite great. The episode where they introduced Irene Adler is so good that I could even ignore the worst pun in British television history as the big final thing.
  2. I probably could just pretend I did WCW Worldwide from January 22, 1994 because that show was awful anyway.

  3. Speaking of shows about tits, True Blood. After that wonderful time where everyone was like NUDE ANNA PAQUIN, NUDE LIZZY CAPLAN, I couldn't even imagine anyone even watching it anymore much less considering it a great show.
  4. Yeah, going with the OOTP approach is wonderful. That game gets the mix of fun signings and realism just right. Good on them. Excited.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oar4Zr5q5XM Don't Trust the B gave us the above clip that is single handedly made by the expressions on the two characters' faces and so it deserves all the praise it gets on here and elsewhere.
  6. On the impetus of GoGo's raves and its placement in the Top 50 TV Shows thread, I've watched up to the third episode of season two of Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23. Krysten Ritter is just fantastic and the James Van Der Beek casting is as great in practice as it is in conception. And like GoGo, I'm a gigantic fan of "Shorty's Got the What What."
  7. You mean the Skummiverse wasn't accounting for Percy Pringle's run as Portador del Féretro?

It's weird, but no. The download puts 400 MB if you buy one from the pack the wrestler is from, and after that (if you buy the others from the same pack), it's instantaneous.
  9. For GoGo, FM2013 has also went on Steam sale for $20. I've actually purchased a lot since I have Paypal and the Bill Me Later option. Got Sim City 4, The Sims 3 (which I didn't have a copy of on this machine), Galactic Civilizations II, Hotline Miami, and quite a few others. It's not bad for indie game deals for sure, it's just parsing the wheat from the chaff.
  10. Love Girls. Love Lena Dunham and think her breezy manner of speaking is shockingly sympathetic towards the sort of friends I hang around. They speak like she does: a little frank, a little entitled, but generally fascinating to be around even in their flaws. Err, I mean, SHE HAS TEH WEIGHT AND TEH TATTOOS WHAT A MONSTER.
  11. Blaster McMassive and Max Smashmaster probably need to be in the game.

Not to mention, pushes start and stop at such a rapid pace in wrestling to where the commentary can sound very dated very quickly whereas basketball's season wraps up at a good enough point to properly analyze how good x player is (and basketball games are often about how great the players were last time out anyway).
  13. More too it than that, it was just his way out As for Saban, I don't think it's any more than media dipshits doing what they do best. He recently said this on the LeBatard Show: "This has been a good thing for my family to be here," Saban said. "College football has been very good for us. The positive impact that you can have on these young men as players and as people, that's just something that we really enjoy and something that I learned about myself." Pretty sure that sorority girl Saban's daughter beat up would not feel the same way. (Everyone else in Tuscaloosa pretty much feels the exact opposite, however.)
  14. When Hulk entered the ring, he stared at Sting and Luger then stared at Nash and Hall and knew what he had to do. He gave a legdrop to Nash and saved WCW from the threat of the Outsiders.

      Aw. He's so nice!

  15. Yeah, it's one of the reasons I like Oan's reviews. He always gets right the atmosphere of the movie he's talking about in a way that truly proves it's more than just riffing on a movie that can make one of these web reviews interesting.
  16. Wait, people don't book like 18 segments in a two hour show when they're doing soap opera/sports entertainment stuff in the game? I'd recommend a pure wrestling company, although that has its booking pratfalls as well. I'm trying to test out how the auto-booker stuff works in a way, though.
  17. When bands like Against Me exist, how can you like the cryptic bullshit of some bland rock like Stone Sour?

I didn't read the rest of this status because I ran away screaming when you reminded me that Against Me exist.

  18. 1/1 Worldwide up--this gimmick isn't a good idea to repeat, is it?

I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT MY REPUTATION. YOU'RE LIVIN' IN THE PAST, IT'S A NEW GENERATION.

  21. Hell, I might just do one of them "blank watches blank" things. Namely since I found this wonderful stash of WCW Worldwide tapes!

  22. I didn't do mine in time, but I guess we auto-simmed, right?
  23. We're talking about the show where Mr. Feeny was so enamored with teaching a group of kids that he somehow went from teacher to professor.
