Hide contents Someone/himself created the Game Warden to keep him from straying too far and going into the real world? The man has clearly lost his marbles. Totally read it as something that Veigt had planted as a game to keep himself amused. Could be completely wrong, but assume the Game Warden is just another clone. That was my favourite episode so far. I'm still not completely sold on it. There's part of me that feels so loyal to the original material that it still doesn't fully sit with me having this continuation. That said, I'm enjoying it for what it is, especially as it feels like it might start to hit its stride now. The show desperately needed Jean Smart's charisma and presence and she's instantly become the most interesting thing about this show (might be some bias in there because of having a pre concept of the character). There's enough mystery, intrigue and world-building to keep me bubbling over for now. I hope it continues to work on the characters. Oh, one more thing The Dr Manhattan dildo was wild 3

He did, I just don't know how to spell any of his names and I was too lazy to look it up, hence 'the man'.

Also, I'm enjoying the show more and more each week. Jean Smart is great and the introduction of her character really elevates the show to another level. Jimmy
I really can't work out how I feel about this show. I think I like it more and more each week, Jean Smart's made a huge boost to the show. But I still find myself watching in trepidation. And I keep flipping between enjoying the Watchmen folklore and also wishing this was just a totally original show.

Benjamin
Regina King is absolutely killing it. She's the perfect protagonist for this show. That baby thing freaked the shit out of me, almost made me forget that I saw Lube Man like 15 minutes earlier. Jeremy Irons just absent-mindedly tossing screaming babies in a river, wow. Next week's Looking Glass-centric episode is gonna' be one I watch with trepidation, for sure.

I hope he comes out of that alive I do not like his chances. I feel like Keene played him for a fool; he knew Angela was his biggest threat and by getting her out of the way, the plan can go off without a hitch. I predict that Blake and Angela end up figuring out they're actually on the same side, and end up working together to stop the conspiracy. ...and it would be awesome if Veight makes it back and somehow they have to come to him to help fix things. Veight (in this show, beyond as well but especially in this show) is such a smug, insufferable prick, the idea of him being key to (once again) saving the world should piss Blake off so much, it would be a lot of fun to watch. Benjamin
Spoiler SAVE ME D? What's the last word? Am I missing something here? Is Veidt just late to an orgy or something? I love how American Hero Story has just gone off the rails
tristy
Veidt's storyline is currently in 2017, about to enter 2018 with his next appearance on the show. Lindelof confirmed that every time we see Veidt in an episode (regardless of how many times per episode) that a year has passed since the last episode featuring him. So his story is in 2017, and the main story on Earth is in 2019. Episode 8 has an interesting title, too.
