Shame Wenger ain't their manager anymore.

Something something we like to Partey, something something the Wenger bus is coming

Really hope Gotze lights it up. When you consider his early potential, he's had such amazingly bad luck with injuries and health problems robbing him of becoming one of the world's best playmakers. He was on track to be KDB/Hazard levels of amazing

He scored the winning goal in a World Cup and then promptly was never heard from him again basically. Bit of a shame because, I agree, 7 years ago he seemed on track to be a centerpiece of the German national team and centerpiece of Bayern Munich for a decade to come. Real shame he got so derailed by injuries.

West Ham are close to agreeing a fee with Brentford for Saïd Benrahma after having a £13m bid for Bournemouth’s Joshua King rejected. David Moyes is keen to strengthen his attack and West Ham are increasingly likely to sign Benrahma, one of the standout performers in the Championship last season.

Brentford are open to selling Benrahma, who scored 17 goals as they reached the Championship play-off final, providing suitors meet a valuation north of £25m. West Ham held productive talks over the weekend and could meet the asking price by offering £20m plus lucrative add-ons. They hope to be in a position to discuss personal terms with the Algerian winger soon.

West Ham have also targeted King, who is out of contract next summer. The striker is keen to return to the Premier League and has attracted interest from Aston Villa, Brighton and West Brom, who are also pushing to sign a striker before Friday’s deadline for deals between the top flight and the English Football League. Bournemouth are thought to want more than £17m.

Last week Bournemouth rejected a €7m (£6.35m) bid from the Serie A side Torino for King. He is understood to be keen to play as a No 9, as opposed to operating as a wide forward, a role he has excelled in at Bournemouth.

Brentford, in setting their asking price for Benrahma, will likely point towards Ollie Watkins, who joined Aston Villa last month for a club-record £28m, plus add-ons, as a benchmark. They also rejected numerous bids worth about £10m from Arsenal for the goalkeeper David Raya, who has since signed a new four-year contract.

West Ham are also seeking defensive reinforcements and are expected to sign Watford’s Craig Dawson after missing out on a host of other targets. The centre-back is unlikely to cost more than £4m.

What a waste, if he goes to West Ham.

He's been a class above every time I've seen him play, so I fully expect him to fall victim to the West Ham curse and be an absolute donkey for twelve months before moving to France for half what they paid for him.

In one confirmed done deal that few will care about: Brendan Aaronson is officially signing with RB Salzburg and will join up in January so he can complete the MLS Season with the Philly Union.

He's a homegrown kid from just over the river in Jersey. He's been a delight to watch, and hopefully Salzburg can help develop him further! Wish him only the best

I care tbf, if he’s any good he’ll be at Leipzig in a couple of years.

Weird one that looks set to happen today is Jack Butland to Crystal Palace. Guy definitely needed a fresh start, just don’t see him getting what he needs from that move. No fee either, which is a bit of a blow for Birmingham - who had a sizeable sell-on fee. Opens up Angus Gunn to Stoke as well.

I saw this news. It's great. Our homegrowns getting to Europe as early as possible is fantastic for their development. Puts them against much higher competition. He's going to have the opportunity to play in the Champions League or at worst Europa League being part of Salzburg.
