Green Day was good until every fucking radio station decided to go: "Well I know we just played Boulevard of Broken Dreams two songs ago but everybody loves Green Day so much we're going to play Wake Me Up When This Song Ends now."

First American Idiot every ten minutes, then Boulevard of Broken dreams every ten minutes on at least four or five different stations, then Holiday every fifteen minutes, then the long stupid one with three actual lines in the song... yeah. I cannot stand American Idiot anymore just because the songs from it are SO DAMN OVERPLAYED.

I like this part of the list, although realistically, I'd only stick The Beach Boys, Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones and Jeff Buckley (at a push) in a top 100 of all time, with possibly Slipknot and White Stripes creeping in (more for 'Knot's influence on this genre, which is big, even if you don't like them, and TWS....well, just because, I guess)

But, if I was looking at my personal faves, Pearl Jam and Jeff Buckley would probably be top 10.

I can't see how Fall Out Boy didn't get in there over The White Stripes. I personally think the Stripes are shit, but hey I didn't vote either so...what the hell. I'm just glad to see FOB on.

Awesome! Yes! I wasn't sure whether or not the Beach Boys would make it, and so a 45 entry is great. They deserve much better in my books, but seeing as I didn't think they'd make it at all, I'll live.

Unlike earlier posters, I think Slipknot is absolutely horrible whilst the Stripes are great (even if the new album is weak), so my take on those inclusions are the opposite.

Big fan of the Stripes. Glad they got it. Although I much prefer their old, old stuff (Self Titled, De Stijl), then the stuff that got them famous.

Even though I only really like one of their songs(I think Hand of God sucks completely, but I love Sugar We're Going Down.) For Suger, We're Going Down Swinging they deserve that spot.

Just because it's such an awesome song.

After seeing Slipknot and Fall Out Boy I grew deeply saddened.

But the presence of The Beach Boys, Garbage, The Rolling Stones, and Jeff Buckley redeems you EWB.

I liked Fall Out Boy when their first cd came out. I haven't really heard their second cd but from what I've seen/heard, they've kinda became MTV pop punk. Oh well tho, Sugar we're goin down is extremely catchy.
