I'd say Gorillaz are far more important than any band around today. They are a mainstream band taking huge chances and being different, and not just with the whole animation gimmick.

I believe I said "influential", and they are definetly one of the most influential bands of all time, I was just saying that it could be argued that they are THE most influential bands of all time.

Don't feel too bad, none of my favorites bands even made the top 100. Obviously I like the Clash, The Sex Pistols, and Slayer, but none of them even made my top 10. Well, unless of course the Dead Kennedys somehow snuck into the top 10, but that I think is doubtful.

Even if you don't like them, I think its pretty hard to have a top 10/20/25 (whatever number you wanna use to quantify) bands of all time without having Nirvana in there.
