SummerSlam opens up with a video package hyping tonight's main event. Tonight we'll see the "Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels defend the World Wrestling Federation Championship against Vader. We're shown footage from last month's In Your House event where Vader defeated Shawn Michaels. We're shown more footage from Vader's other win against Michaels. The video shows how Michaels fought back and went right to Vader, Taking the fight to the challenger! The video ends with Vader standing over Shawn Michaels and holding the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Tonight can Vader beat Shawn Michaels and become the new World Wrestling Federation Champion? The video ends and we're taken inside the Gund Arena where pyros go off from the entrance way and from the rafter. We get a live shot at this huge crowd as the attendance number shows up on the screen. 20,998 fans on hand for SummerSlam! We get another show of the live crowd before being shown the ring and then the entrance stage. We go over to our announce position where our announcers for the evening are Vince McMahon and Jim Ross. They hype up tonight's huge Pay Per View card which will feature Shawn Michaels defending the World Wrestling Federation Championship against Vader, Bret Hart goes up against Jeff Jarrett, Undertaker battles Cactus Jack in a no disqualification match, Owen Hart defends the Intercontinental Championship against Rick Martel, Sean Waltman defends the Million Dollar Championship against Marc Mero, Scott Steiner battles Ahmed Johnson, Sycho Sid goes up against Hunter Hearst Helmsley, The Smoking Gunns challenge Steve Austin and Al Snow for the WWF Tag Team Championship and British Bulldog faces Ultimate Warrior with the loser leaving the World Wrestling Federation forever!

Sean Waltman hands the Million Dollar Championship over to Referee Charles Robinson. Robinson shows it to Mero and then holds the Million Dollar Championship high in the air for the whole crowd to see. Robinson hands the title over to the time keeper. Referee Charles Robinson calls for the bell as this huge crowd begins a "Waltman sucks" chant. Both men start this one off exchanging near falls. They both get close two counts on each other, But they can't put the other man away. Waltman ends up catching Mero with a big hip toss! Mero gets up to his feet, And Waltman goes for a drop kick, Mero hangs onto the ropes and Waltman hits the canvas! Mero catches Waltman with a big clothesline as Waltman was getting up! Mero pulls Waltman up and hits Waltman with a European uppercut to the face! Mero sends Waltman for the ride and catches Waltman with a high back body drop! Mero then sends Waltman down with a knee to the face! Mero picks Waltman up to his feet and goes for a suplex, But Waltman counters and hangs Mero across the ropes gut first! Waltman kicks Mero in the face knocking "The Wildman" right off the apron! Waltman greets Mero with a big baseball slide to the face as Mero was getting up! Waltman then comes off the ropes and hits a huge rope flip to Mero on the outside! Ted DiBiase claps as Waltman rolls Mero back into the ring. Waltman heads up top and catches Mero with a high cross body! Mero rolls through and gets on top of Waltman! 1..........................2................ Waltman kicks out! Both men get up to their feet, And Mero clotheslines Waltman down. Mero picks Waltman up and tosses Waltman out onto the apron and drop kicks Waltman right off the apron! Mero comes off the ropes with a big plancha to Waltman on the outside! Mero rolls Waltman back into the ring and nails Waltman with right hands to the face. Mero picks Waltman up and slams Waltman down. Mero goes up onto the second turnbuckle and comes off it with a big leg drop to Waltman. Mero with a cover! 1..................2............ Waltman kicks out. Mero slams Waltman and goes up top, DiBiase gets up on the apron and distracts both Mero and the referee allowing Waltman to shake the ropes and crotch Mero on the top turnbuckle! Waltman comes charging at the ropes and hip tosses Mero right off the top turnbuckle! Waltman covers Mero! 1...........2............... Mero kicks out! Waltman picks Mero up and sends Mero into the corner. Waltman hits Mero with big chops to the chest! Waltman scores with several kicks to Mero! Waltman takes Mero out with a big spin kick which knocks Mero down into a sitting position! Waltman chokes Mero down with his foot and goes into the opposite corner. Waltman taunts the crowd and then charges at Mero with a bronco buster! Waltman rides down Mero in the corner! Waltman pulls Mero up to his feet and connects with a northern lights suplex into a bridge! 1......................2............. Mero kicks out! Waltman goes for a spinning heel kick, But Mero ducks and nails Waltman with a right hand. Mero goes for a irish whip, But Waltman counters and catches Mero with a huge spinning back heel kick as Mero was coming off the ropes! Waltman hooks the leg! 1................2.................. Mero kicks out! Waltman picks Mero up and takes Mero down with a headlock take over and locks Mero into a chinlock. Mero escapes but walks into a big tornado DDT from Waltman! Waltman covers Mero! 1....................2............. Mero kicks out! Waltman picks Mero up and suplexes Mero. Waltman pulls Mero back up and scores with a knee to Mero's gut! Waltman nails Mero with a big facebuster! Waltman covers Mero! 1..........................2.................. Mero kicks out! Waltman heads up top! Mero gets up and crotches Waltman on the top turnbuckle! Mero goes up with Waltman and hits a big time hurricanrana to Waltman! Both men are out of it as Referee Charles Robinson begins to count both men out. 1........................2.....................3.....................4....................5........................6..............7....... the count is broken as both men are up! Waltman gets nailed by right hands from Mero! Mero sends Waltman to the ropes and catches Waltman with a back elbow to the face knocking down Waltman! Mero pulls Waltman up and sends Waltman to the corner. Mero charges at Waltman with a huge knee to the gut! Mero places Waltman up top and goes up with Waltman! Mero goes for a superplex, But Waltman counters and shoves Mero down to the canvas! Waltman goes to fly off the top onto Mero, But Mero catches Waltman and drives Waltman down to the canvas with a midair DDT! Mero hooks the leg! 1.....................2............. no! DiBiase puts Waltman's foot on the ropes breaking the count! Mero picks Waltman up and sends Waltman for the ride. Mero catches Waltman coming off the ropes with a huge powerslam! Mero goes out to the apron and comes back into the ring with a slingshot leg drop to Waltman! Mero covers Waltman! 1....................2.............. Waltman kicks out! Mero connects with a huge back suplex to Waltman and goes up top! Mero takes too long which allows Waltman to shake the ropes and crotch Mero on the top turnbuckle. Waltman goes up with Mero and tries a superplex, But Mero counters and shoves Waltman down to the canvas! Mero comes off the top with the Wild Thing to Waltman! Mero covers Waltman! 1.................2............... Waltman kicks out! Mero can't believe it! Mero picks Waltman up, But Waltman rakes Mero in the eyes! Waltman the backslides Mero over and puts his feet on the ropes! 1..............2........3! The fans start booing as Waltman's music plays. DiBiase grabs the Million Dollar Championship as Waltman leaves the ring. DiBiase and Waltman head to the back as Mero and Sable argue with the referee. Waltman poses on top of the stage with the Million Dollar Championship before heading to the back!

Scott Steiner says that he returned to the WWF for one reason and one reason only, And that is to become the World Wrestling Federation Champion! But, Steiner didn't count on Johnson fighting back! These two are now scheduled to meet at this year's SummerSlam. And the question is, Can Steiner defeat the people's champion? Martel made it to this year's King Of The Ring Finals and almost won! Tonight he faces Owen Hart. Owen Hart is not only the current Intercontinental Champion, But he's a former three time Tag Team Champion as well. And he's a King Of The Ring. These two men have faced once in singles action with Owen cheating to retain the title. Sadly for Owen, Martel beat him in a few tag matches earning this title shot! Tonight can Rick Martel do it? McMahon notes that the title has changed hands at every SummerSlam except in 1993 and 1995. Both men start off with a lock up. Owen gets Martel into a side headlock. Martel tries to escape, But Owen keeps it on tightly. Martel is able to counter and sent Owen to the ropes. Owen comes at Martel with a shoulder block which knocks down Rick Martel! Owen stands over Martel and lets out a big "wooooo". The fans boo as Owen smiles. Martel gets up to his feet, Not looking too pleased. They lock up again, Martel puts Owen into a arm bar, But Owen does his counter out of it only to get raked in the eyes by Martel. Martel sends Owen to the ropes and catches Owen with a big chop to the chest knocking down the "King Of Harts"! Martel pulls Owen up and rams Owen into the turnbuckle head first! Martel rams Owen's head into the turnbuckle ten times as the fans count along each time as Owen's head makes contact with the turnbuckle! - Ultimate Warrior has been released from his contract with the World Wrestling Federation. Warrior had seven months left on his contract, But due to his unhappiness, He asked for a release this past Monday night. Warrior agreed to wrestle at SummerSlam and receive his payment for the Pay Per View. Warrior is expected to possibly head to World Championship Wrestling or Japan to tour.

Great show! I was surprised how many matches had endings that involved a foreign object or interference, but really good nonetheless. The Cactus/Taker fued is getting really good, especially now with Raven in the mix. Last night, We also saw British Bulldog defeat Ultimate Warrior and end his career. Because of his huge win, Bulldog is now the number one contender for the WWF Championship. Tonight we'll see Shawn Michaels put the title on the line against England's favorite son, British Bulldog. These two men have had many classic battles in the past, Can Shawn Michaels defeat Bulldog once again? Or will Bulldog continue his winning ways and walk out as the World Wrestling Federation Champion?

Scott Putski Vs. "Party Boy" Marty Jannetty

The crowd was into this one. Jannetty seems to get babyface pops for his dancing. But there's no plans on turning him back into a face wrestler. Jannetty started this one off like he starts off every match, By dancing at his opponent and the referee! Putski didn't take this too kindly and went after Jannetty with right hands! Both men put on a solid seven minute match up. Jannetty was able to catch Putski with a spinning heel kick to turn things his way. Jannetty would hit a big move like he always does, But he'd stop and dance. Jannetty caught Putski with a big knee lift around the five minute mark and headed up top. Jannetty went for a big splash, But Putski moved out of the way and Jannetty hit the canvas! Putski made the comeback and scored several near falls on "Party Boy". Putski caught Jannetty with a big bulldog but couldn't make the cover! Suddenly, Pyros went off and out came Bob Backlund with Jacobs down to the ring! Jacobs came into the ring and caught Putski with a big boot! Jannetty then got nailed by a boot as well! The referee ruled this one a no contest. Jacobs lifted Marty up and Choke Slammed Marty! Putski was the next one to get Choke Slammed! Backlund told Jacobs to finish them off! Jacobs lifted Putski up and nailed him with the lifting powerbomb! Jannetty then got powerbombed as well! Jim Ross called Jacobs' lifting powerbomb the "Torture Bomb".

Jacobs stands over Marty Jannetty and Scott Putski. The fans are booing loudly and chant "Sid" over and over again. Bob Backlund comes into the ring with a microphone.

Bob Backlund- No one believed me! No one thought that Bob Backlund would bring fourth a monster! A monster so powerful, That Sycho Sid is shaking in his boots! This man right here has shown everyone that Sycho Sid isn't the master and the ruler of the world. Jacobs has arrived! Look at this man! He's three hundred twenty six pounds. He stands at seven feet tall! He's a true monster! Why did I choose him to get Sid? Why? It's simple. Sid, You had your chance. I offered you a spot. I offered you my managerial services. But you turned it down! Why Sid? You proceeded to powerbomb and choke slam me everyday of the week like I was a dog! Well, I had to bring in someone to teach you a lesson. Look at this man Sid. He's never had anyone look out for him except Bob Backlund. And he'd do anything for me. So when I told him to get you, He was more than happy to. This man only knows one thing, And that is pain. This cruel world took his parents away from him, Made him live in the streets. If it wasn't for me, He'd probably be dead! Jacobs does what I tell him to do. And he does it without questions. The fans cheer loudly as Sycho Sid's music hits the arena. Sid comes down to the ring looking ready for a fight! Sid comes into the ring and runs right over Backlund with a clothesline! Jacobs goes right after Sid! Sid and Jacobs start trading right hands! Jacobs knees Sid in the gut! Jacobs goes for a Choke Slam, But Sid ducks and catches Jacobs with a boot to the face rocking Jacobs down! Sid then grabs Jacobs by the throat and Choke Slams Jacobs! Jacobs is down as Backlund goes to the corner and tries to hide. Sid has a sick smile on his face and turns his attention to Backlund. Sid points at Backlund, But Jacobs is up! Jacobs nails Sid from behind with a right hand! Sid turns around and Jacobs Choke Slams Sid! Backlund tells Jacobs to powerbomb Sid! Jacobs pulls Sid up and nails the Torture Bomb to Sid! Jacobs stands over Sid as Backlund grabs the microphone.

Bob Backlund- Sid! Look at you now! You're a tough guy? Look at you! Jacobs has left you laid out once again! Sid, Jacobs will end you! He'll leave you bloodied and beaten like never before! You will know what true pain is all about!

Jacobs' music plays and Backlund and Jacobs leave the ring. Sid is left out cold as McMahon and Ross wonder how anyone is going to be able to beat Jacobs.

Our cameras cut to the back where Dok Hendrix is standing by with Billy Gunn.

Dok Hendrix- Well, The Smoking Gunns are no more. Last night at SummerSlam, Billy Gunn shocked the world by turning on his older brother Bart and costing the Smoking Gunns a chance to become tag team champions. Billy, Your brother Bart is not here tonight. I doubt we'll see him for a long time after what you did last night. What the whole world wants to know is, Why? Why betray your own flesh and blood like you did at SummerSlam?

Billy Gunn- Why? Is that what you want to know Dok Hendrix? Is that what you and all these WWF morons want to know? Why?

Dok Hendrix- Yes. We want to know why you turned on..............

Billy Gunn- Shut your mouth! Shut your mouth and listen to what Billy Gunn has to say. It's quite simple, Look at the Smoking Gunns. Who was the leader? Who was the one who carried the team to the top of the tag division? Who made the Smoking Gunns a great team? Who made us popular? It sure as hell wasn't Bart, No. It was me! I carried my brother Bart. I was the one with the talent. With the charisma. Bart just took advantage of me. I made the Smoking Gunns into the top tag team in wrestling. Billy Gunn- You think I'm afraid of fighting Bart? Come on Hendrix! Bart has always been nothing more than a lap dog! He's a punk! He had little brother carry him around. If he wants a match, I'll be more than happy to give him one. But, I won't be held responsible for what happens to Bart. Steve Austin and Al Snow with Ted DiBiase Vs. Yokozuna and Fatu

These two teams have fought many times in the past. I guess they booked Yokozuna on Monday Night Raw since they didn't have anything for the big man to do at SummerSlam. This one is a non title match. McMahon said the reason this was a non title match, Was because DiBiase protested having Austin and Snow defending the titles after having put them on the line last night. Yokozuna and Fatu were a house on fire in the beginning, Until Al Snow caught Fatu with a big DDT to take control of this one. Snow and Austin double teamed and isolated Fatu through out most of the match while Yokozuna stood in the corner waiting for the hot tag. Fatu caught both Snow and Austin with a pair of clotheslines late in the match and made the hot tag to the former two time WWF Champion. Yokozuna came into the ring and started cleaning house! Austin and Snow got knocked down by big blows from Yokozuna! Fatu and Yokozuna started rocking and took Snow and Austin down! Snow and Austin won this one after Snow and Yokozuna were left as the legal men in the ring. Yokozuna took Snow out with a belly to belly suplex and called for the Bonzai Drop! Sean Waltman ran down from the back and nailed Yokozuna with one of the tag titles behind the referee's back while Fatu fought Austin on the outside! Snow covered Yokozuna and got the win! Afterwards, Snow, Austin, Waltman and DiBiase left the ring while Fatu checked on Yokozuna.

Sirens go off as Monday Night Raw returns from the commercial break. The fans boo as Scott Steiner makes his way down to the ring. Scott Steiner poses in the ring while McMahon and Ross remind us of Steiner's brutal battle with Ahmed Johnson last night at SummerSlam.

Scott Steiner- Last night at SummerSlam, I proved to the whole world who the man around the World Wrestling Federation truly is. I defeated the "people's champion" Ahmed Johnson and proved to everyone why I am the best athlete in the World Wrestling Federation. Ahmed Johnson is nothing more than a street thug. I showed him who the man truly is. You people were foolish to think Ahmed Johnson would beat me. I'm a wrestler. He's just some thug. I'm ready to move on to bigger and better things. Ahmed Johnson couldn't beat me. It just wasn't possible. I'm now ready to move on to the World Wrestling Federation Championship. I came back to the World Wrestling Federation for one thing and one thing only. And that is to become the WWF Champion. The fans start going wild as the music of Ahmed Johnson plays. Scott Steiner does not look pleased. Steiner stares at the RAW entrance way but no one is coming out. The fans cheer as Ahmed Johnson makes his way out through the crowd and gets inside the ring! Steiner turns around right into a huge right hand from Ahmed Johnson! Johnson hammers away on Steiner! Johnson sends Steiner to the ropes and catches Steiner coming off the ropes with a big spinebuster! Johnson calls for the Pearl River Plunge! Johnson lifts Steiner up and takes Steiner down with the Pearl River Plunge! Steiner is laid out as Ahmed Johnson grabs the microphone.

Ahmed Johnson- You think this is done Scott Steiner? Last night you had to use a foreign object to beat me! We going to have another throw down boy! And this time, I'm going to whip your ass!

Ahmed Johnson's music hits the arena and Johnson leaves the ring. Johnson heads to the back as Scott Steiner is left laid out in the ring.

Rick Martel Vs. Marc Mero with Sable Vs. Owen Hart with James E. Cornette Vs. Jeff Jarrett with Rick Rude

Rick Martel's newly won Intercontinental Championship is not on the line. Martel got a big ovation from this crowd tonight. The first man to score a pin fall or submission is the winner. All four men started this one off brawling with one another. Mero and Jarrett went at it while Owen and Martel also went at it. Eventually it was Mero/Owen and Martel/Jarrett. The faces then went at it while Owen and Jarrett went at it. This one was a competitive match all the way with lots of close near falls and save attempts by all four men. This one came to an end with Owen fighting Mero on the outside, Jarrett went for the Figure Four on Martel, But Martel countered and took Jarrett down with a inside cradle to score the win! Afterwards, Martel posed with his Intercontinental Championship to a huge ovation from this crowd. McMahon and Ross kept hyping Martel's amazing comeback to the ring, Saying that Martel has finally won some singles gold after years of being in the World Wrestling Federation.

Monday Night Raw returns from the commercial break with the music of Bret "The Hitman" Hart hitting the arena to a huge ovation from this sold out crowd. Bret Hart makes his way down to the ring in street clothing while McMahon and Ross talk about how Bret beat Jeff Jarrett last night at SummerSlam. Hart steps into the ring and poses as pyros go off. Hart is handed a microphone and gets ready to talk.

Bret Hart- I've come out here because there's something I need to say. Last night I defeated Jeff Jarrett. I proved to everyone that Jarrett was all talk. I beat Jeff Jarrett and now I'm going to get back what's mine. And that is the World Wrestling Federation Championship. It's been since March that I haven't held the title. I have yet to receive a rematch with Shawn Michaels. I've beaten everyone that's stood in my way. And now it's time I get my title shot against you Shawn Michaels. Tonight I know you're facing British Bulldog, And I'm hoping that you win. And you want to know why? Because I want our Wrestlemania XII rematch to happen. You did beat me at Wrestlemania XII, But now I want my rematch. I want to show everyone that you were lucky at Wrestlemania. That the best man did not win. You got lucky at Wrestlemania XII. The crowd was pretty dead for this one since they were into the four way match earlier and the previous segment with Helmsley and Hart. The Money Mine are improving each time they're out there. The Hardy Boyz and Scorpio have also been impressing the fans as of late. The Money Mine isolated the young Jeff Hardy early on the kept him away from his partners. Jeff caught Droese with a big DDT and was able to make the hot tag to Scorpio. All six men got into it, With the high fliers getting the best of The Money Mine. Matt and Jeff ended out on the floor brawling with Diamond and Swinger. Droese and Scorpio stayed in the ring as the legal men. Scorpio caught Droese with a running enziguri kick and called for the Scorpio Splash! Dawn Marie got up on the apron and distracted Scorpio! This allowed Droese to nail Scorpio from behind and catch Scorpio coming off the ropes with the Money Compactor for the win! Afterwards, The Hardy Boyz helped Scorpio to the back while The Money Mine celebrated.

We return from the commercial break with the music of Cactus Jack hitting the arena. Cactus Jack and Raven make their way down to the ring to boos from the crowd. Jack grabs a microphone and prepares to speak. Both Raven and Jack have sick smiles on their faces.

Cactus Jack- Last night at SummerSlam, We all saw me defeat Undertaker. We all saw me beat Undertaker one, two, three. Did you really think Undertaker would be able to beat me? I told everyone I would win one way or another. I had to bring someone in who hates Undertaker as much as me. Someone who knows that pain and misery is all about. This man felt unappreciated. No one ever cared for him. Not even his own family. They dumped him like yesterday's garbage. So his old pal Cactus Jack brought him here. Raven is another man who's suffered. Undertaker, Your battle is now against the both of us. You'll be fighting me and Raven. If you thought I was hell to deal with, You haven't seen nothing yet. Raven is a man who hates you. He has felt pain. He has felt torment. At SummerSlam, You realized that your creatures of the night were not enough for us. You can't stop us. We won't ever stop, We won't ever quit. We won't stop until you're over Undertaker. Until your legacy is over. Now then, Raven has something to say, Don't you Raven?

Raven- Look at this pain, Look at this torment. Look at the face of Cactus Jack. This man is a man who's felt pain like no other before him. All you brain dead fans cheer for your Undertaker. But boo this man. A man who's given half an ear for the wrestling world. All he's ever wanted was to become a World Wrestling Federation superstar. But did you people cheer him? Of course not. This world truly does suck, And you want to know why? Because of people like you fans. Parents are hurting their children, There's war, Anger. And you people just think the whole world is this happy and shiny place. Cactus Jack, I understand your pain. Cactus Jack, I feel your pain. I look into your eyes, And I see the pain you've suffered. The world has made you out to be a freak, But you're not. It's not your fault Cactus Jack. It's all these fans fault. You people are just like my parents, We weren't good enough for your expectations so you tossed us out like garbage. And Undertaker, Undertaker? What about Undertaker? He's your precious golden child! He's the man all you intellectual cripples love. What about me? What about Raven? What about Cactus Jack? Why aren't we loved? Is it because we don't hold the image you people are used to? You fans have to realize that, Even though you hates us, We're not going anywhere. We've set our sights on Undertaker. And I'm laying down the challenge for him right now, In Your House "Featured Attraction". You and I Undertaker. One on one. Cactus Jack- Raven, You want Undertaker in the ring? That's fine with me. I beat him last night. I can wait to get another match him. But who knows? Maybe after you're done with him, There won't be anything left for me to finish. Last night we all saw the beginning of the end for Undertaker. First it was Paul Bearer being destroyed, And who was the driver? Raven himself of course! The urn is gone, Paul Bearer is gone. And soon, Undertaker will be gone. All you ungrateful fans will learn a lesson. You people shouldn't have abandoned us. Why did you people boo us? Why'd you toss us out like garbage? Why boo us? You people cheer heroes like Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and Undertaker. But you don't cheer us. We're not bad people. We've just been treated like s*** by everyone! Raven's parents dumped him on the streets because he didn't live up to their expectations. The wrestling fans dumped me because they didn't thing I was good enough. The fans cheer as the purple lights come on. The bells toll and Undertaker's music hits the arena to a huge ovation from the crowd. Undertaker comes walking down to the ring looking ready for a fight! Undertaker gets inside the ring as the lights come back on. Raven is the first one to go against Undertaker, And gets nailed with a right hand for his troubles! Undertaker and Jack go at it and start slugging away at each other! Undertaker backs Jack into the corner and goes nuts nailing Jack with right hands to the face! Raven sneaks up on Undertaker and low blows Undertaker! Undertaker turns around right into the Evenflow DDT from Raven! Jack goes to the outside and grabs a steel chair! Raven pulls Undertaker up and Jack nails Undertaker with a chair shot right to the head! Undertaker goes down! Raven grabs the chair from Jack as Undertaker sits up. Raven nails Undertaker right over the head with a huge chair shot! Before Jack and Raven could do anymore damage to Undertaker, Officials come down from the back and hold both men back. Undertaker gets up and tries to go after Jack and Raven, But he's held back as well. Raven and Jack flee through the crowd as Undertaker stays in the ring.

We go the interview area backstage where Dok Hendrix is standing by with the World Wrestling Federation Champion, Shawn Michaels.

Dok Hendrix- Shawn Michaels, Last night you defeated Vader in what was truly a war. You retained the WWF title and now you prepare to face British Bulldog in the main event. Are you up for the challenge against Bulldog tonight after the war you were in with Vader just twenty four hours ago?

Shawn Michaels- Last night it truly was a war. I have never been beat up like last night. Vader proved to the whole world that he truly is a monster. But when it was all said and over with, HBK ran right over Vader with Sweet Chin Music. I proved to everyone that Vader just wasn't worthy of beating me. I beat him last night, And I beat him without any help or interfere. As far as what kind of shape I'm in, I might be banged up. But there's no way I'm backing down from a title defense right here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dok Hendrix- We heard comments from Bret Hart and Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Both men want to become the number one contender for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. What's going through your mind as more and more men begin to challenge you for the title?

Shawn Michaels- I heard what both men had to say. Helmsley says he's the future while the ever so lovable Bret Hart thinks he should get the title shot. He says my victory at Wrestlemania XII was a fluke. Bret, That wasn't no fluke. I beat you at Wrestlemania XII and I became the champion. And the fact of the matter is, I've beaten everyone who has stood in my way. I don't care who wants the next title shot against me. I've beaten everyone. Bret, You're the one I'm looking forward to facing the most. And you want to know why? I want to beat you for the second time in a row and show everyone of these people that you're not the best there is, The best there was and the best that there ever will be. I want to prove to you that I'm the better wrestler and the better champion. And Hunter, We've been in that ring before my friend. And you've felt Sweet Chin Music. Whether or not you're the number one contender again, Doesn't matter to me. As long as HBK has a challenger for this title, I could care less who it is!

Dok Hendrix- Tonight it's you and British Bulldog. You two have already faced many times this year alone. Tonight you once again put the title on the line against Bulldog. Bulldog is coming off a huge win, He retired Ultimate Warrior last night at SummerSlam! Can you beat Bulldog tonight on Monday Night Raw and retain the title?

Shawn Michaels- Dok Hendrix, Every single time I've faced Bulldog I have beaten him. I beat him in 1992 and I beat him this year. Bulldog might have retired Warrior, But Warrior is no Shawn Michaels. Can Bulldog beat me? No he can't. I'm the top guy in the World Wrestling Federation. I'm the WWF Champion and I'll beat Bulldog tonight once again. Bulldog and I have been in the ring before this year, And I've beaten him. Tonight there's no stopping HBK and the Kliq from running right over Davey Boy Smith!

WWF Slam Of The Week- Sycho Sid defeats Hunter Hearst Helmsley with the Powerbomb! (SummerSlam 8/25/96)

Michaels and Bulldog put on another solid between the two. The crowd was into this one. Lots of "HBK" and "Bulldog sucks" chants through out this great battle. Michaels started off doing well for himself, Taking Bulldog down using his quickness and gaining several near falls on Davey Boy Smith in the process. Bulldog got frustrated and went to the outside to take strategy over with his manager James E. Cornette. Michaels came off the ropes with a big plancha to both men! Michaels and Bulldog brawled around the ringside area, And Michaels sent Bulldog into the steel steps! Cornette distracted Michaels on the outside though, Which allowed Bulldog to strike with a clothesline and then hit a big suplex to Michaels on the padded floor! This allowed Bulldog to take control of the match. Bulldog came close to putting Michaels away with his power moves, But the champion kept fighting back. Bulldog even caught Michaels with the Running Powerslam! But, That wasn't enough to put Michaels away! Michaels ended up catching Bulldog with the flying forearm and nipped up! Michaels nailed Bulldog with his trademark moves and slammed Bulldog down. Michaels came flying off the top with the elbow drop and called for Sweet Chin Music! Michaels went to the corner and started to tune up the band! Bulldog got up to his feet, And ducked Michaels' Sweet Chin Music! Bulldog kicked Michaels in the gut and hoisted Michaels up for the Running Powerslam! Michaels slipped out of it and sent Bulldog into the corner chest first! Bulldog then came out of the corner right into Sweet Chin Music! Michaels covered Bulldog and scored the three to retain the title! Afterwards, Shawn Michaels posed with the World Wrestling Federation Championship as Monday Night Raw came to an end.

- A number one contender's tournament for the World Wrestling Federation Championship has been announced. The first two matches will take place on Friday Night Mayhem. And the finals will take place on Monday Night Raw, On September 9th. The winner will meet Shawn Michaels for the title at In Your House "Featured Attraction" on September 22nd.
