Hehe not for the last ten years but ok, i see this is going nowhere, I still stand by my statement that the goalie wasn't cheating

Then you're an idiot.

Surely a mod should not be flaming people? Surely!

I stand by my statement it wasn't flaming

Can I no longer troll in peace? :'(

Not when you're interfering with my trolling, troll! Troll somewhere else!

Cheating keeper aside, I enjoyed the game. The heart shown by Taylor especially really impressed me, and the Dutch lads have fantastic technique.

Hi guys... I'm from Belgium and just watched the game against the Serbs...

Bit sad now, but I think we can be proud for once about our team. The seniors do suck, but our youngsters deserved to go to the finals. Anyway, nice tournament, not seen Holland-England but I'm kinda hoping for Holland to win. They were impressive against us and Serbia wasn't...

My conclusion after this tournament: there's hope for Belgium. We qualified for the olympics and for our country, that is worth enthousiasm allready. Did you know this is the first Belgian team to qualify since 1976 or something (and I mean team like in teamsports, last time we played olympic football was in 1928...) (maybe this will cheer you English folks up a little).

So is it Racists Vs Cheaters in the final?

I was wondering how long it'd take for another typically bitter English comment. Just like the 2006 World Cup where everyone in the final four were dirty lying cheaters.

Whilst I'm not going to go down that road necessarily, the Serbs shouldn't even be in the competition. UEFA and FIFA always talk about harsh punishments for crowds/teams that spout racial abuse to players of the other team, but nothing ever happens. But as per usual, they seem to have dropped the ball. Yeah, the Dutch keeper cheated, but sadly enough the ref didn't enforce it....the Dutch were generally good, and I have no problem with them being in the final, and hope they go on and win it.

.....and since when were all the teams in the last 4 in the World Cup dirty lying cheaters? Portugal, maybe, Italy, definitely (they wouldn't have got through if it wasn't for the diving against the Aussies), but the other two, I don't think anyone was that fussed by.

Yeah, but due to the way France beat Brazil, and the way the Germans had played in the tournament (arguably the best in the tournament at the time), I think most people accepted them playing in the semi-final, even though there was naturally a national dislike towards them from some.

The Serbs being racist has nothing to do with us being bitter, at all. And the Dutch keeper blates cheated, so I don't know how it makes us bitter to see it how it is.

Serbia obviously can't be kicked out of the competition, but I agree that they should face very stiff punishment once it's over. Everyone deserves due diligence and in my opinon, justice cannot be served in that short of a time period. As for the Dutch, yea the keeper may have been off his line but I mean if the ref doesn't enforce it you can hardly be angry at the Dutch for it. If you've got blame to place, place it on him for botching a seemingly easy call.
