I wouldn't be surprised if the 49ers picked him up (if even wants to go there) because we sorely lack a pass rusher and he's been rumored to go there for awhile now.

Still, I would assume he ends up with a team that's in a position to contend rather than an 0-5 team.

I really think the Panthers can go 0-16. I haven't seen a worse passing game. the defense is decent but the rest of the team is almost a lost cause. the bills are also in contention for that first pick.

on the road (oakland is 0-2), statistically there's hardly any overall difference, one of Oakland's 2 wins was against the Rams, the RB/QB situations at Oakland still aren't worked out due to injuries, SF has played a much better schedule to this point, 3 of the last 4 meetings between the two have been won by SF ....

I like the idea of Merriman to either the 49ers or the Jets but I honestly have no idea where he'll end up. As for Farve, I'd almost bet money that if it looks like he's going to get suspended he'll sit out a game before it happens so that way his streak isn't ended on such a sour note. If that was how it ended that would be a point of conversion when anyone talks about what Brett Farve's greatest achievement was (other then finding a way to legally hold people hostage).

Agree completely. And DJ Ice, it's obvious you're new to the NFL. My Broncos, regardless of record, are always tough to beat in Denver. We can definitely beat the Jets today.
