The entire Paul family/group/whatever you want to call them are such a collection of Sol Campbell's that I want KSI to knock him out. They weighed in just over a kg apart today - Logan at 86 and KSI at 84.9, after Logan's camp has continuously gone on about the size and weight advantage Logan has. I also found it funny that Michael Buffer, a man who looks like he'd take any payday in boxing, looked entirely bemused at the weight-in. KSI (which originally was taken from a Halo clan but now supposedly stands for 'knowledge, strength and integrity') is a 26 year old YouTuber who originally came to fame by posting Call of Duty and Fifa gameplay videos. He has since branched out into other ventures including a sports YouTube channel, a rap career, two books, a movie and now boxing. Some of his older videos caused controversy, especially those where he used a so-called 'rape face' and one where at a Eurogamer where he asked female attendees if he could motorboat them. These videos were all made between 5-7 years ago. Logan Paul is a former Viner who moved over to YouTube when that platform died. His channel prior to this was mainly vlogs, and he sort of specialised in having fake disputes with other YouTubers, like his younger brother Jake Paul and the vlogger/rapper Ricegum. He at the end of last year made a video in the Aokigahara, sometimes known as the 'Suicide Forest' due to the number of people who tragically take their own lives there. In this video - which YouTube put at number 1 trending because YouTube is terrible - he shows a dead body and he and his entourage make jokes and stuff. Whereas this Logan guy is a complete tosspot, so I hope he gets KO'd. But it doesn't even matter, as either way he wins. All in all, fuck this sort of thing. I've kind of mellowed to it. I will probably watch it because of the novelty like the McGregor vs Mayweather fight. I kind of hope that boxing takes note. They are streaming on YouTube for about a fiver a pop. I wonder how the buy rate would change if say the Wilder vs Fury fight was on YT at a fiver.
