I was exactly the same. I had heard that a whole bunch of new trailers were going to be released with the new HP movie and they skipped them all at the midnight session.

It def looks like Gordon is talking to Bruce. I was wondering if he would ever figure out that Batman was Wayne. Bane looks awesome too.

Totally looks like Bane is going to do what he did in the comics, just from the way he approaches Batman and the fact Wayne is talking to Gordon in the hospital. Totally calling it now...

Bruce is in a wheel chair whilst talking to him.

Also it definitely looks like Bane is having something Venom like injected into him from the look of his mask.

Can they really do a "man who broke the Bat" story after two movies and after Batman by all accounts has rounded up just three canon supervillains?

I don't really think that it would work either to be entirely honest - it's an amazing story to be sure, one of my favorites but one of the greatest parts of it is the strategy used to wear Bats down, which wouldn't be as epic with the amount of canon superheroes and there's no one to really take up the mantel of Batman like there was in the original story.. but I could be wrong, and probably am. Perhaps they'll just dial it back a bit, I guess that's sort of what they did with the previous film.

I thought the trailer was good but something about it seemed a bit off. Still can't wait to see it though.

I fully expect it to be a dialed-back version of the story. Bane will probably put him into retirement early in the film, with the rest of it being about the rapid fall of Gotham under Bane's thumb, and about Batman's inner-struggle to get past his physical set-back. I don't think we'll see anyone else take up the mantel of the Bat.

Ultimately - I wonder why they bothered to throw Selina Kyle into the story, seems like that could have used some build up. I'm just remembering now that she's in it.

She said in an interview that she would be donning the Catwoman outfit, also. Interesting to see how that fits into the story.

I like Bane being the main villain but I can't see i'm overly excited about Catwoman.

Is it possible that Catwoman comes in as a "replacement" of sorts while Batman is gone? Obviously I have very little knowledge of Catwoman's origins except that she was a theif and her and Batman had a thing, but if Nolan wants to work her in somehow, that seems to be a good way to do it.
