Cricket!

I haven't watched much of this, but happened to have it on just as Cook made his century. Such a great achievement for someone his age.

The match is heading towards a draw, though. There'll probably be a short rain interruption again tomorrow, possibly Monday too. I can't see England reaching the total, bowling Sri Lanka out cheaply and having enough time to win it. I don't usually like it when Test matches are drawn, but with so many stoppages, it's a fair result.

We ended 496-5. And we've already taken a couple of wickets, they're 11-2!

Sri Lanka batsman Upul Tharanga has failed a random drugs test, BBC Sport understands.

The 26-year-old returned a positive sample following a World Cup match.

But the International Cricket Council (ICC) has yet to confirm whether Tharanga has failed a doping test.

"As a matter of ICC policy and in accordance with ICC and Wada (World Anti-Doping Agency) regulations, we do not comment on anti-doping matters of this nature," a spokesman told the BBC.

Limited-overs specialist Tharanga has played 121 one-day internationals, as well as 15 Test appearances, but is not in the Test squad for Sri Lanka's current tour of England.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka sports minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage has ordered a three-member panel to investigate Tharanga's failed test, although he has yet to receive official confirmation from the ICC.

He would be the first cricketer from Sri Lanka to fail such a test.

A spokesman for Sri Lanka Cricket has told the BBC that Tharanga had taken medication for asthma "some time ago".

Under the ICC's Code of Conduct, every international player is personally responsible that no prohibited substance enters their body.

Tharanga was part of the Sri Lanka side that lost the World Cup final to India by six wickets in Mumbai last month.

He also shared a record opening stand of 282 with current Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan in a 139-run win ove Zimbabwe in the group stages.

We thrashed them by 10 wickets in the fourth one-day international at Trent Bridge to level the series 2-2. Alastair Cook made 95 from 75 balls and Craig Kieswetter scored a 68-ball 72 to guide England to victory.

Decider is on Saturday, iirc.

So the first test gets underway (weather permitting) tomorrow at Lords. If we win the series by two clear matches we become the best test side in the world.

Interesting that the referral system is not being used - India wouldn't agree to it. No doubt there will be controversial calls called incorrectly!

Fingers crossed we can get a result. We played well (most of the time) against Sri Lanka.
