Noah
I'm not sure where the most appropriate place to vent this is but I choose here.Having the best season of my life in NRL (rugby league) fantasy draft. 16 wins and 1 loss(and that was to a guy desperate for the win so his team would make the top 8). So I easily win my first game in the semi finals and then I'm set to play a team with 4 players who are out injured for the season(you know the type, they set their teams up and eventually lose interest) for a spot in the grand final. Naturally I figure this will be an easy game and I'll make the grand final to hopefully cap off a great year of fantasy sports........the guy he designated as his captain (double points for captains) before he presumably lost interest got him 246 points and he ends up knocking me out of the finals by 6 points. Rich
Can we separate out the Rugby League from this thread, I don't want the great unwashed masses in here ruining stuff.

Bobfoc
I'm pretty sure our version of rugby at school just involved us wildly running into one another with no grasp of what we were actually meant to be doing.

Admin Lineker Posted November 18, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted November 18, 2015 Jonah Lomu has died, according to reports.
Whisper
Just seen this on the BBC website. Really sad. Had he been ill? Just mentioned to the Mrs that, considering New Zealand won the world cup, I didn't remember seeing him on TV or anything. He was tweeting as recently as yesterday. 40 is no age . Whisper
Yeah, wow, I didn't actually know any of that about him. Admittedly I don't follow Rugby much but I always assumed he had just retired normally.
FLiam
I'm not a rugby fan by any stretch of the imagination, but can respect what Lomu did for the sport. He was one name I knew growing up, despite not following it. He was a genuine sporting great, and this is a massive shock.
Cymbols
It's so so sad. I didn't really catch him in his prime but I remember the first rugby game I ever went to see was when he played for the Cardiff Blues for the one season. A true legend of the game.
