Regions not able to retain/bring in enough players means they have to play the youngsters against the Irish/Scottish/South African clubs’s seniors, so we’ve had a generation of youngsters who are underdeveloped. Budgets are getting further slashed next season so it is only going to get worse before it gets better. The really disappointing thing for me is that the narrow scoreline flatters Wales.
