An event I've never seen:

"My boy, let me tell you the story of how awesome your oldest brother is going to be, and how the rest of you probably won't be in the main credits."

The Targaryen family tree is a flat circle.

Wouldn't surprise me. Trying to draw it out when I get back on my laptop to make sense of it. Either it's circles or a bowl of spaghetti.

Also, I think Ned Stark was the last viewpoint character from the books to die in my game.

My brain trying to decipher the Targaryen family tree:

It's not that complicated :shifty:

All post-Maegor I Targaryens descend from Aegon I and Rhaenys Targaryen. Furthermore, they were born from the line of Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen from the Dance of Dragons through Viserys II; Aegon IV had Daeron II, who had Aerys I and Maekar I; Maekar had Aegon V, Aeogn had Jaehaerys II, and Jaehaerys had Aerys II. The only incestuous couplings after Daemon/Rhaenyra were Aegon IV and Naerys, Jaehaerys II and his sister wife, and then Aerys and Rhaella (against their will).

All members of House Martel descend from Aegon IV via his daughter Daenaerys Targaryen.

Can't be bothered with the rest of Westeros at the moment, so gonna instead focus on the Iron Throne as of 375 AC.

Sitting the throne itself is still Duncan I Targaryen, commonly called 'the Proud', called by some "Duncan the Daughterfucker" :shifty:, 69 years old, entering the 42nd year of his reign, which would put him at second or third all-time for reign length on the Iron Throne.
From his marriage to his cousin Rhaelinor:

  • Aurion, 52, Lord of Dragonstone and current heir, m. Sarya Ruttiger
    -Duncan, stillborn
-Shaera, 30, m. her distant relative Jaehaerys Targaryen
--Qoherys, 7, her bastard son by a Lyseni named Illyrio
--Otherys, 2, her second bastard son by Illyrio
-Aelyx, 29, current heir to Dragonstone and second in line of succession, married to Duncan I's niece Daenerys
    --Daenora, 11
--Daegar, 7, third in line of succession to the Iron Throne
--Sylvia Waters, 6, Aelyx's bastard daughter by a lowborn named Moelle
  • Aegon, stillborn
  • Rhaelle, died of greyscale in 365 AC at the age of 30, m. Kyle Hardyng
    -Mhaegan, 20
    -Visenya, 14
  • Alyssa, 36, fifth in line of succession to the Iron Throne, m. William Umber
-Rhaegel, 18, Lord of Farring Cross, sixth in line to the Iron Throne, m. distant bastard kinsman Joyeuse Waters
    -Rhaelinor, 16
    -Daella, 9, twin to Duncan
    -Duncan, 9, twin to Daella
  • Rhaenyra, stillborn

From his second marriage to Aliandra Mallister:

  • Cymella, 14
  • Aenar, 12, fourth in line of sucession to the Iron Throne

From his "affair" with Lady Grisel of Ibben

  • Caloth, stillborn
