Kinda steering this back into 'Spoony Watch '12' territory but he kinda looks shitty here. Looks like he has two black eyes. <_<

Huh, as time goes on, it looks like he has streaks all over his face so I assume he's got some make up on or something. Strange.

Actually, right at the end, he's looking almost Warrior-esque.

Yeah, to begin with I was thinking he just genuinely looked like he hadn't slept in days, but considering the story he's going with at the moment is that he's going mad, and he's part of an "Experiment" (justifying the website name, I guess), maybe that was part of it. But the make-up just looked weird by the end.

The whole video was a bit too pretentious - I've really enjoyed his Ultima reviews, because it's him doing something he actually cares about, rather than just ranting about why X game or Y movie sucks so hard, and it's been quite interesting as well as a lot of fun. But I could have done without all the self-indulgent bullshit at the end.

I'm guessing from the ending that we're getting Final Fantasy XIII next?

The corruption of the game, of his childhood, something he held dear broke him. It began to corrupt him aswell. The Guardian's influence and THE BETRAYAL! was altering him.

Atleast that's what I gathered from it while watching the other night.

As far as the self-indulgent bullshit.... Well, yeah it was there, but the whole "I miss fighting the floor." spiel is the closest I'll ever come to crying at a review. It felt earned to me.

I'll honestly probably skip the FF, because I don't really trust him to be able to do that storyline without including a silly battle scene at some point. This? It wasn't Miles in a fur suit getting whacked repeatedly with a plastic sword. It wasn't Black Lantern Spoony which had potential but ended up petering out, or concluding in a Linkara review that I never bothered to watch.

It was a man being broken by that which he loved.

I may have read waaaay too much into it, but I liked.

Okay, I've got to ask. What was with the picture of George Washington on the triceratops with Kool-Aid Man?

It comes up when you google image search the Battle of Yorktown.

Also I didn't make that Tarelton love heart image. It was on google image search.

I've no idea either... But they amused me.

Go watch the new Brows Held High. You won't regret it.

Oh, and I should mention that your review was great and I want to pick this movie up and watch it again because I think I'd enjoy it much more now than I did at the time. The bit with Mel Gibson hacking the British guy to bits with the axe had me rolling.

Yay! Thanks Sousa.

My favourite part of it is that the second hour is mostly comedy. While the first hour and last 40 or so minutes are all super serious as soon as Jason Isaacs is in them a lot.

The Nostaglia Chick's latest is Cool Runnings. Which is on my list too. I shall wait a while before I do that one now. Speaking of films for the show: I'll probably pick up work on Man on the Moon today when I get the chance. Already have a good page or two of notes down on that one.

Watching Nostalgia Critics review of Total Recall, he's doing with some guy named "The Sci-Fi Guy" whose gimmick seems to be nitpicking Sci-Fi films.

Why the fuck would anyone watch that. Nitpicking is the fucking worst anyway, let alone in a genre that usually features impossible scenarios, ridiculous technology and even fictional races.
