Ottawa's been trying to keep Leafs and Habs fans out of their arena for years. They even went so far as to ask their season ticket holders to not give away/re-sell tickets to Leafs and Habs games. Then they realized that those are the only games that are guaranteed sell-outs, and have the best atmosphere.

Nashville's just shooting themselves in the foot, I think. Never alienate paying customers.

I can't wait to see more games from the Wings against Islanders, Devils, and Rangers. Islanders/Devils tickets are still rather cheap, well compared to the Rangers, at least.

Craig Anderson tweet a photo regarding the size difference from his old pads to the new CBA requirements.

Smaller goalies shouldn't have much of an issue, but tall goalies might suffer here.

So a blogger by the name of Travis Yost has been doing articles linking Eugene Melnyk to some businesses and charities overseas, suggesting a money trail that either means Melnyk is being kept afloat by foreign investors, is funnelling/laundering money in these organizations, or a combination of the two, all while refusing to spend to the salary cap to keep his team competitive. Melnyk denied the reports, calling Yost "a random, useless blogger" with no important information. Then things got interesting. Yost vanished; his content (and only his content) was deleted from the hockey blogs he posts on and his Twitter account was deleted. Yost popped back up to defend him and say he'd been hacked only to have everything then removed again. He then came up under a new username and traced the hackers to Ukraine, which is where Melnyk's money trail led. That post was also removed, though the hackers can't hack the google cache. So, it sounds like the days of fraudster NHL owners with shady connections are alive and well, even in Canada!
