So R* have halved earnings when you replay missions you've already beat.

Makes sense. I couldn't work out why I was getting 10k compared to Baddarina's 5k, and vice versa, after some missions the other day.

I'm not a big fan of it being halved, I would much rather see the missions made a priority and rewarded as such, with Survivals, Races etc. that you've already won having the money halved. The missions are hard enough to get a decent shot at already due to them almost always needing more than one person to do it properly.

I don't mind half of the money, but the game should stop throwing missions at me that I've already done if it wants me to play others so much.

Halving mission payouts makes absolutely no sense when ammo costs are so high and so many missions give you nothing for failure to complete them. They've removed the whole 'jackpot' feel of winning a mission, because you end up with less money than you started if you fail a mission twice before completing it.

It just seems like this is a way of punishing all players because a few choose to grind out the more rewarding missions, it wouldn't be so bad if this was the only money nerf but they've already removed replays and halved some mission payouts in past updates so I don't understand what their problem is.

If they're so concerned about people grinding and breaking the game's economy, why are they then going to give every player $500,000?

Yeah - at this point, the entire system is unbalanced. The fact that missions are fun to play.. but the losers don't get a single thing? That's kind of ass backward.

What I don't get is why they didn't half survival payouts. Surely if the goal is "we want players to play a variety of missions", nerfing survival payout would make more sense because a lot of people just farm survival maps over and over. Make it pay out the full 20k for the first successful completion, then for each successful repeat go down in increments of 5k - 20k to 15, 10, 5, etc. until it's only rewarding 3-4k for completion.

Instead, they nerf the payout for the missions that they want people to play, thus giving everyone less incentive to play those missions. It makes no sense.

We were robbing a shop, and as I'm tapping A to run out of the place, Simeon calls, so I answer the phone and get a friggin' cut scene during the robbery. Luckily I did nothing wrong during the robbery, so I didn't have the cops after me.

Then Myke decides to leave and locks me up in his garage.

THE GTA$ STIMULUS PACKAGE

We know many of you are anxiously waiting for us to show you the GTA$ Stimulus Package money we announced a couple weeks back. As mentioned in that post, we of course want to ensure that game progress loss issues are sufficiently sorted before distributing the GTA$ to everyone. We have a few more tweaks and fixes to make in a new title update that will hit sometime next week and then we will distribute the cash.

THE BEACH BUM PACK

Coming in early November will be the first add-on content update, the Beach Bum Pack which will bring all-new beach themed vehicles and new weaponry that youll be able to use in both GTA Online and Story Mode. Plus new customization options for your GTA Online character including new tats, hairstyles and more. Well also be adding lots of brand new action-packed Jobs to play with Gang Attacks, Survivals, Last Team Standings, Parachutes, Deathmatches and Races that will have you bloodying up the waters and coastlines of the finest beach resorts across Los Santos and Blaine County.

THE CONTENT CREATOR

We are also working to bring you the debut of the first part of the GTA Online Content Creator this fall giving players the ability to craft, publish, rate and play custom-made Deathmatch and Race Jobs. Well be keeping our eye open for exceptional ones that well be stamping as Rockstar Verified and will be featuring them here at the Newswire and as part of forthcoming GTA Online Social Club Events. Both the Content Creator and the Beach Bum Pack are free.

SOCIAL CLUB EVENT WEEKENDS

Starting in November will be the first Grand Theft Auto Online Social Club Event weekends which will bring special rewards and bonuses ranging from limited-edition in-game Event Crate Drops to in-game discount specials and even a special new GTA Online live-stream show hosted by Rockstar at the Social Club Events page and Rockstar Games Twitch page plus prize pack giveaways of hard to find GTAV gear and more.

Had two glitches today, one has made my car disappear, and one got me to survival wave nine before ending the session and not giving me any money or points for it. Getting seriously tired of the amount of glitches in this game, I understand that they can't test it without everyone on, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating.
