I really liked it, kind of reminded me a bit of Gone Home. Quite enjoyed just wandering around that world too because it felt like it could be a village I've been through loads of times. The music is really wonderful.

I won't get it yet, but it looks great to me. I don't know how much the storyline will appeal to me, but the ability to explore the setting really appeals to me. I know some people out there will protest that it isn't really a game, but sod those people.

Started playing Abe's Oddysee: New 'N' Tasty last week, I forgot how ruthlessly unforgiving this game can be. So many segments I've spent an age on trying to get past, forgetting how much I sucked at it nearly two decades ago, and how little has changed since

Doesn't it have a quick save system and more frequent checkpoints than the original? I know that doesn't make the gameplay itself easier, but it should at least help alleviate the frustration of having to replay large sections every time you fail. I know there are plenty of people on the Internet who would call me a casual ninny, but that's the sort of thing that puts me off playing a game completely.

It does, which makes it a lot easier, but it still doesn't help so much when you're terrible at the game like me

I've still yet to start that since it was released for free, what type of game is it?

It's a puzzle-platformer, you can't directly attack enemies for the most part, and instead have to work out how to get around them and save your fellow species at the same time. Very unique world and some fun, even when infuriating, gameplay. Good to dip in and out of for a few minutes as well as play for an extended period. May not be for everyone, but I like it, and the update to the original makes it a lot better.

I picked up Project Cars and a racing wheel this weekend. The game is beautiful and tough and I love it. I haven't used a racing wheel in like fifteen years. They've gotten infinitely better than I remember.
