Super day. City lose in the league and Chelsea win in the cup.

I am now skimming through the match recorded on Sky+ and enjoying the sulking from Redknapp and Hoddle.

Playing Zouma in midfield was genuis. Fair play to Chelsea, they deserved it.

In fairness, he still looked pretty lost in the first half. Any Spurs attack that cut inside from midfield found this gaping channel twixt Zouma and full-back and they generally reached the edge of our box before meeting any resistance. He was much more settled after the break though.

In random (and very slow) news, the second goal has now been officially credited to Diego Costa. Strangely generous, but I suppose Kyle Walker won't mind.

It means that Costa has actually managed to score a goal outside of the Premier League this season! Hooray!
