I have to admire this performance really. Spurs have been so poor but Chelsea being unable to capitalise has led to Spurs kindly scoring the two goals for them they feel Chelsea deserve. They won't be winning the Carabao Cup but they've got to win the Sportsmanship one here for that classy move.

For further consolation, they didn't look at the off the ball incident in the box involving Hojbjerg where maybe there really was one! All three VAR decisions correct but could have at least made a game out of it by now. After his refereeing performance so far here though I'm anticipating the final whistle to go in about the 83rd minute

Xhaka’s red card ensuring this game will be a boring 0-0 because we have no idea what to do when a team sits back and defends with everything.

Less said about Xhaka the better. But this group of first choice players is really impressive at the moment - that was one hell of a performance. Showed so much fight and determination.

Great result. Can’t wait to be mauled in the second leg.

So inept creatively that match. The red card was probably the worst thing that could have happened. 

Just no pace or thought behind a lot of things. Just get outside the box and brick it. 

Arsenal dug in and made it compact with a lot of bodies. Basically worked perfect in combination with our said lack of edge in the final third
