I'm glad he's gone, but it should have happened in April last year and it's shitty that they set him up to fail this year. 7 game road trip aside the Leafs have done better than I expected this year. This makes little sense unless they know they're getting Babcock in the summer and didn't want to hire a new guy to be the lame duck.

I'm actually excited to see Randy leave. I know it's bad to feel that way when someone loses their job and I don't doubt Randy is a good person, but he was the wrong coach for this team.
