Swansea City are reportedly on the verge of completing a £1.75 million deal for highly-rated Exeter City midfielder Matt Grimes. The 19-year-old has been linked with a number of Premier League sides after impressing with the Grecians and being named their player of the season last year. It looks as though the Swans have won the race for his signature, with the South Wales Evening Post reporting a deal is close to being finalised.

Seems like a bit of a dirty move from Swansea.

Why is that supposedly a good thing? Because he had potential in Football Manager? He's bagged a few goals for Arsenal in 2 years and would be a horrible signing for a team with a much weaker midfield and much less chances per game.

This. I'll miss him but at times he is more of a hindrance. Henderson shouldn't be forced out to RWB just to fit Gerrard in. He'd be better if he was used as a Lampard type substitution but Brendan is never gonna do that.
