Same here. Not because of Star Wars, not at first anyway, but because one of the first films I ever loved as a kid was Blues Brothers and she was in that.

She was smart, intelligent, funny and a decent actress. Every Christmas for my entire childhood had a Star Wars film on telly. She was utterly iconic.

 

However I saw this photo posted earlier and couldn't get past it 'cos basically, the way my mind is wired, that's pretty close to perfection.
