Everton in full on FM mode.

Literally just made this exact transfer on FM. Be right back, selling Messi and Ronaldo to Newcastle for a pittance.

Sky sources understand Florian Lejeune is currently undergoing his Newcastle medical. The French centre-back arrived on Tyneside yesterday after Newcastle reached agreement over the structure of his £8.7m move from Spanish club Eibar. Lejeune, formerly of Man City, will become Rafa Benitez's second signing of the summer, following Christian Atsu's £6.2m move from Chelsea, and should be sealed today.

AC Milan have announced the signing of Hakan Calhanoglu from Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Paris Saint-Germain have handed a first professional contract to Timothy Weah - the son of former Ballon d'Or winner George.

Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of winger George Boyd on a free transfer

Birmingham have confirmed Ravel Morrison is training with the club.

Monaco have signed Holland defender Terence Kongolo from Feyenoord on a five-year deal.

Have they done DNA tests? People have been stung on things like this before...

Sevilla say they have reached an agreement with Leicester for the transfer of Vicente Iborra. The 29-year-old midfielder is now set to travel to Leicester for a medical and to sign a contract.
Sky sources understand a fee has been agreed between Leicester and Sevilla of around £12.5m for Iborra, but he has yet to complete a medical and agree personal terms. This could happen by the end of the week. There has been no comment from Leicester.

Can Chelsea hurry up and make a signing pls (preferably Lukaku and Bakayoko)

Good luck waiting on that... He's gone on an extended holiday. So selfish, these professional athletes.

I would have thought that the fact that not only the Lukaku rumours but also the alternative-striking-options rumours for Chelsea have gone so deathly quiet surely indicates that it's a done deal. Everton are clearly embarking on the sensible strategy of spending their windfall money before it's officially announced (to lessen the ripoff potential)...though that doesn't mean it's Chelsea that he's going to.

You could say the same with Bakayoko, I guess. But god knows what's happening with this Alex Sandro nonsense.

Bournemouth have signed winger Connor Mahoney from Blackburn Rovers. The 20-year-old, who has represented England at U17 and U18 level, has signed a four-year deal.

Rangers have agreed a £1.3m fee with Norwich for midfielder Graham Dorrans, according to Sky sources.

Sky sources: Leeds United left-back Charlie Taylor is close to signing for Burnley. Taylor is out of contract but Leeds will be due a compensation fee. He’s had a medical and the move should be completed this week.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has completed a remarkable U-turn by agreeing to sign a new AC Milan contract. The 18-year-old goalkeeper has 12 months left on his deal. He has agreed to sign a new deal which will make him one of the best paid players in Italy, on £100,000 a week.

Burnley have made an £8m bid for Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga. Middlesbrough are also interested in signing him. Forest signed Assombalonga for £5.5m from Peterborough United three years ago.

Swansea striker Borja Baston is close to completing a loan move to Malaga, according to Sky sources.

Sky sources: Sunderland are on the verge of a double-signing from Everton this afternoon. We understand defensive duo Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning are currently on their way to Wearside to undergo medicals ahead of season-long loan deals.  In addition, Sunderland are close to agreeing a permanent deal for Everton winger Aiden McGeady, which would take the Everton arrivals to three. However, the Republic of Ireland winger's move is less advanced than the other two, but Sunderland remain in advanced talks with Everton.

Sky sources: Swansea look to have won the race to sign Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa in a deal understood to be worth around £11m.

Middlesbrough have won the race to sign Jonny Howson from Norwich, Sky sources understand.

Sky sources: Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is at Arsenal’s training ground having his medical. Once the medical is complete, Lacazette is expected to sign a five-year deal. Arsenal have agreed a deal with Lyon which is worth a club-record £52m.

I like how 'P.S. Arsenal are spending £52m on Lacazatte' is just slipped in nonchalantly at the end of the list after Burnley and Middlesbrough have had their turn.

Looking forward to Abraham returning from loan, and then being sold only to then become a world class striker and then be bought back. We're just abusing the loan system at this point. I understand that people need experience and I guess Swansea is a great place for that because it does give him prem experience but this is ridiculous. If we recalled everyone from loan our squad depth would be trough the roof -- or under the floor <_<

That Charlie Taylor to Burnley move is in the press every single day and has been for like two months. An example of everything I hate about this time of year.

Also, if Sunderland want to keep being the Everton dumping ground even after Moyes has left, perfect. I forgot McGeady was even still on our books.
