This really sucks. I haven't seen all that many of his films but he always brought a great sense of gravitas to his roles. One of the best voices in cinema as well.

Pretty much the exact same here, he's the kind of actor whose presence just stays with you.

Think I'll finally get around to listening to those Charlemagne albums that I've been putting off for far too long in his memory.

There's a great story from WW2 about his unit basically putting down arms and threatening to mutiny. He ended up talking them down and the way he always spoke and carried himself you can well see that. One of the best orators there is, could listen to him speak for hours.

Actor, Metal Artist, SAS Agent, Sith Master, One of the inspirations for the Bond character - RIP Christopher Lee

Let's not grieve his death, lets instead celebrate the lives of one of the finest people to have lived these past 93 years. He's been a war hero, he's played more memorable characters than any man ever including and not limited to; Scaramanga (Man with the golden Gun), Dracula, Count Dooku (Star Wars 2-3), Sarumon (Hobbit AND LOTR), Rochefort (Musketeers) and many many more.

Rest easy great man, rest easy because you won't ever be forgotten.

Well, this sucks :crying:

He had an incredible presence, and I always enjoyed his work. There's a friend of mine who, whenever his name popped up, always thought he had already died (because, come on, 93 years old, that's quite a feat), and I always had to convince him he hadn't.

RIP, Mr Lee.

I don't ever foresee a day when there is someone who has accomplished so much in any media genre with such a broad range of different roles, each one with a performance so strong that it becomes instantly iconic.

A very sad loss, but also a great time to remember just how important Christopher Lee is to the history of cinema.

"To us, Mr Bond. We are the best."
