  1. The Mars Volta's Frances The Mute The Mars Volta's De-Loused In The Comatorium Nine Inch Nails' The Downward Spiral So yeah, Tristy's choices, mainly.
  2. Openers: It doesn't get much better than 'Cygnus...Vismund Cygnus' from the Mars Volta album Frances the Mute. Other than that, there's 'Lovely Head' from Goldfrapp's Felt Mountain. and 'Everything in it's right place' from Radiohead's Kid A. Closers: I'm the umpteenth person to mention it, but 'Hurt' by NIN is in a different class of it's own. I love Muse 'Megalomania' too, the last minute or so of that is just ridiculously good.
  3. God I wish the UK series could have the same format as you guys have
  4. Nine Inch Nails. I was indifferent towards them for years, but finally I picked up an album in the sales a few months ago and now they're one of my favourite bands. All that wasted time
  5. 2-0. Good start to the season, Rooney got the second. Sadly, I think it's Chelsea's league again this season. I'd like to think we could challenge but I just don't see it...
  6. Alison Goldfrapp [Goldfrapp] on Vocals, as she just has the best voice ever. Matt Bellamy [Muse] on Keys, because he's a pretty fucking good pianist. The Drummer, fuck knows what his name is [Death From Above 1979] Bassist would be Ben Winton, [The Departure].. And I'm sure guitar wouldn't be used much, but I'll go for Sam Harvey [The Depature]
  7. Sugababes, the odd Britney song, Natalie Imbruglia, Dusty Trails... I'm sure that there's more.

    Danny Wallace.

His books are a little more contrived than Gorman's, and he goes looking for adventures, whereas Gorman's just happen. However, he is as funny as him, and his two books are great. I can't wait for Wednesday
  9. All Time: Radiohead Muse Goldfrapp Current: Nine Inch Nails The Mars Volta Portishead
  10. Depends what 'small' means I suppose. Zelega and Visionstate are both amazing, they're both just starting out really.
  11. It'll be Kinga who comes back in. Which is good, she'll liven it up, it's been shite since Citizen Science left. I met Maxwell last night at the local nightclub. He's a cunt.
  12. I've got Blue Orchid, it's great. More like their early stuff, which is no bad thing.

    Top 100 Albums.

I completely agree with Tristof. DSOTM is the most overrated album EVER. Meddle however, is fucking brilliant.
  14. It took a while for me to warm to it but after 5 or 6 episodes I finally like it. Most excellent
  15. Drunkship Of Lanterns Concertina Roulette Dares (The Haunt Of) Cygnus....Vismund Cygnus The Widow Take The Veil Cerpin Taxt Cassandra Gemini 'Take the Veil...' was fucking brilliant, but 'Roulette Dares' was the best. Although that's always been my favourite TMV song so... I hope to god they play Reading this year
  16. You should. I can't get over how incredible it was
  17. I went to see them last night and it was the BEST gig I've ever been to. They played for almost 2 and a half hours and I was speechless at the end of it. No words to describe just how good it was.
  18. Muse- Origin Of Symmetry Nirvana- Bleach Oasis- Definetaly Maybe Pink Floyd- Meddle The Smiths- The Queen Is Dead White Stripes- Elephant
  19. I think I saw a UFO last night. Like what Cloudy described, it was white, and left a trail in the sky. I followed it on my bike for a bit, but I went down a small hill and when I looked back up into the sky it was gone...
  20. Recent: Biffy Clyro- Infinity Land Bjork- Medulla 2 Many DJ's- As Heard On Soulwax Radio Pt2 Kings Of Leon- Aha-Shake Heartbreak Graham Coxon- Crow Sit On Blood Tree Graham Coxon- The Golden D Graham Coxon- The Sky Is Too High Stina Nordenstam- The World Is Saved
