Because this has all the hallmarks of a Hillsborough esque cover up of trying to blame the fans for the cock ups of public organisations and governments.

UEFA need to be held to account as well. Really don't trust them to do a fully independent enquiry. Corrupt organisation needs razing to the ground

Simply because they were going down the let's all blame Liverpool/English fans. 

They're going for the exact same playbook of Hillsborough and they will not realise that we will fight our corner and fight for justice. Don't piss off the people of Liverpool as a city or a club. We will fight tooth and nail.  Thank fuck we are in the social media age. 

The amount of people on twitter still going on about it just being Liverpool, then a journalist goes well here's our account and there's stuff with Madrid fans and then they're like ah don't care. Liverpool scum etc.

As soon as independent journalists were providing first-hand accounts and footage, an investigation should have been opened. It seems they are probably doing this to avoid lawsuits. Pathetic really.
