Draw does me fine. Scotland were better for most parts of the game. Why Italy didn't play the entire game like they did the last twenty minutes I'll never know. Iaquinta or whatever the gits name is needs to be benched on Wednesday too, because he's done fuck all for two games. Why they're choosing him over Del, Gillardino and Cassano, well I just don't know.

Maybe he's a better diver.

Keep dreaming, Hearts have still to play Rangers AND Celtic, which is the only reason they've won all of their games.

And money means nothing in football, it's the players you buy with it. Hearts would make a good #2 in Scotland behind Rangers some day. (¬_¬)

So Roman's billions meant nothing to Chelsea's sudden rise or to Gretna winning almost every game in 2 years?

Good result for Scotland, they shown more passion in the last 4 games they have for years, Miller, Gordan & Hartley were especially great. A draw was fair though Italy had no standout players and were pretty average but they had a lot of chances.

With Pressley due back and Quashie most likely fit I fancy there chances in Norway. I don't see Italy being in any danger though not to win the group.

I'd have played Beattie over Miller though, he and Maloney are in form for Celtic, saying that Super Ally look primed at pitchside to come on and do a job.

Fuck off, you don't see a bunch of random Scots suddenly supporting Chelsea because they get a bit of money.

Turbonegro ¬_¬

And I don't support them, I'm just glad someone is finally ending the pathetic dominence of the old firm, and it might actually give the scottish game something to watch, instead of the same 2 teams going at it year after year.

I'm glad Hearts are doing well too. It just pisses me off when I see Hearts fans proclaiming themselves champions after a few games, without even facing the two best teams in the league. Hibs are coming up too, and that was before they beat Rangers (I still can't believe that).

You were falling into that category of annoying Hearts fan.

Let's save this for the SPL Thread though. Lots of good discussion.

UPDATE:

Romania wins 2-0! The Czoke Republic go down, and Holland have clear sailing!

Poland mugging Austria, so it looks like they'll jump back over England for the time being.

The Israel draw with Switzerland keeps FOUR TEAMS unbeaten in that group. That's going to be the most interesting group to watch down the stretch. France and Ireland aren't going to waltz in.

Turkey rallied to tie Denmark, but that still means that they need to win in Kiev to keep their hopes of winning the group alive.

South Africa loses to Burkina Faso, so now Ghana is in the driver's seat to make the Cup should they win tomorrow.

Norway is up on Slovenia in Ljubljana with a half-hour to go.

Portugal will kick off very soon.

Of course, the real fun is yet to come. Argentina haven't started yet, Brazil plays tomorrow, and of course, the USA-Mexico derby clash is tonight, with the winner (if there is one) sealing their spot with three matches to go.

Nice to see some American Footy fans around here. England are something like 7 Goals behind Poland on Goal Difference so a dominant win against Northen Ireland is fucking needed.

England still yet to play azerbaijan, Northen Ireland and Poland, and the last two times IIRC, that Poland and England have collided in a group winners deciding game, England have lost.
