Gotta echo on this one. When I first saw Steve Carrell I never imagined he'd be able to come off like an ass and he did a really good job in this movie.

The Rocketeer was pretty fun. I can see why it's a cult favourite, and whilst probably not going in that kind of area for me, I enjoyed it.

Man, Kingsman was so fucking great. Holy shit, what a ride! I love the feeling it had of older James Bond films with its ridiculousness and gadgets (which, of course, was the point) and how ballsy it was in terms of story telling. Great work all round.

I felt that Frank was carried by Fassbender's performance, and it was decent overall but I think it went a bit downhill by the time they reached America. It was hard to like any of the characters, except Frank, by the end, and for a film that tried to be heartfelt and endearing, I guess it missed the point with me. Humour was good though.

Didn't expect much from Maleficent but really enjoyed it. The guy who played the crow was great in particular.

Quantum of Solace (2008), the lesser of the three Craig Bond's but still enjoyable. Almost done with my rewatches! Only Skyfall left and after that! SPECTRE!!!!!

We watched the new SpongeBob movie today. I am unapologetic in my belief that the first SpongeBob movie is a classic piece of goofball cinema. This one... not so much. I didn't hate it but meeeeeeeeeeeh.

Despite the fact I thought it probably wasn't my kind of film, watched Ride Along under suggestion of a friend. It wasn't particularly bad, but it was just the movie I expected it to be. Not really my cup of tea.
