Pretty much. The story wasn't fantastic, but most of of the sub-plots, mini games and battle system were really fun.

Shut up, FFXIII-2 was great and Lightning Returns looks to be awesome too. And X-2 was a better game than XII and on par with X. If anything it provided way more freedom than X.

Maybe my hate for FF XIII has jaded my XIII-2 experience but I borrowed it from a friend and stopped playing after about 4 or 5 hours because I didn't enjoy it at all. Maybe if I find a cheap used copy at my local Gamestop I'll try it again but right now I've no interest in anything related to FF XIII. That game sucked so hard. If you ask me they should stop making those sequels and focus on getting FF XVI done.

I probably should give FFXIII-2 a bit more time. Chucked it in fairly quickly, though I didn't mind what I was playing - lack of time IIRC was the issue.
