therockbox
England would struggle to get a touch even if there were two balls on the pitch.
Thrilla
I'm thinking 4-1 to Spain.
Jimmy
I've gone for 3-1 to Spain but that England line up is very underwhelming. Scotland gave 'em a real test in the second half of the game the other month, I'm hoping we at least look impressive out there tonight and give it a real go. hugobomb
England will do well to get 40% possesion if the first 15 minutes are anything to go by, but they do look good on the break so far.
Matt
Just look at the two benches. We have no depth whatsoever.

Admin Lineker Posted November 12, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted November 12, 2011 OptaJoe on Twitter: "Spain have touched the ball 348 times in the opposition half, while England have managed to do this only 75 times." England take off Theo Walcott and bring on Stewart Downing. Spain make three substitutions - David Silva, Xavi and Iker Casillas are replaced by Cesc Fabregas, Juan Mata and Pepe Reina. hugobomb
was that header from Bent spinning back in before Lampard nodded it? Either way
Walker
Motivation for Spain to go ahead and open the floodgates, me thinks. But, for now we lead Spain, so lets enjoy it.

Dan
Ramos and Busquets are horrible horrible people. Ramos diving in with 2 feet, what a prick.
Admin Lineker Posted November 12, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted November 12, 2011 Yikes, Ramos is lucky to still be on the pitch after that lunge. Fabregas' hair should not be worn grown out, ever.
The Future
Reading the live commentary as the game isn't being aired here but it seems like Scott Parker is playing very well bringing some work-rate to the midfield that's been missing since Hargreaves got injured? Fancy this to end 1-1, nice to see Ramos and Busquets can still get away with anything they want though.

Definitely. @OptaJoe 1 - Of the 11 players to have made the most passes in the first half, only one is English - Scott Parker (27). Observers. Dan
Scott Parker is a fantastic footballer, been very very good for Spurs this season and did really well in a shit West Ham side. Very close by David Villa.
