Hobo
He is the Bobby Charlton of the new millennium. I am excited to eventually see his comb over flopping in the wind.
GoGo Yubari
Is Rooney auditioning for the role of a bully in a movie set in the '50s after Euro 2012 or something?
Admin Lineker Posted June 16, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted June 16, 2012 Where does Jack Wilshere fit coming back into this team? With captain Gerrard being undroppable of course.
Grounded Wingman
Just announced that England will play Scotland in August 2013, as part of the FA's 150th anniversary celebrations.

Colly
Where does Jack Wilshere fit coming back into this team? With captain Gerrard being undroppable of course. I don't see a panic, we've only got three centre mids in the current squad, and presuming Lamps has probably played his last tournament and Gerrard, Parker and Barry have one at best there's plenty of time for Wilshere, Rodwell, Cleverley or whoever to come through. In the short term Gerrard could play more advanced ahead of Parker and Wilshere if need be, otherwise rotating.
Admin Lineker Posted June 17, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted June 17, 2012 As well as the Scotland game, The FA has also announced intentions to schedule further high-profile fixtures to mark their 125th anniversary. They've also revealed a friendly against Italy to be played in Berne, Switzerland, on Wednesday 15 August, England's first match after Euro 2012. The last time England took on the Azzurri was in 2002, losing 2-1 at Elland Road to a Vincenzo Montella brace.

LexChaney
Is Rooney auditioning for the role of a bully in a movie set in the '50s after Euro 2012 or something? He's going to play the older version of Jimmy Hopkins from Bully for Rockstar by the look of it.
Pesci
It's for the 150th anniversary of the FA because it was formed in 1863. The first FA Cup was in 1971 so it couldn't possibly be 125.

Admin Lineker Posted June 21, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted June 21, 2012 Q: How do you think this England team would fare in the Premiership? (@haddockheaven) A: "I think this team would be pushing for a Champions League place. They are hard to beat and Roy Hodgson has set them up well, so they would not concede many in the Premier League. Also, they are always likely to grab a goal as they have scored in 16 successive matches. "You could compare this England team to Newcastle. England may not have a flare player like Demba Ba, but Newcastle were hard to beat last season and always capable of scoring. "The spirit must also be mentioned because it is very special. Having this kind of spirit will take them a long, long way." It's an interesting question - how would this England team fare in the league? METALMAN
Well out of the players that started against Ukraine, the majority of them are regulars for top five clubs. I'd say they are better than Newcastle, obviously. Newcastle play loads of English players who are nowhere near the England team.
