therockbox
How can you score 12 Premiership goals and be crap? I don't get it. How old actually is Peter Crouch? This seems to be the first season I've heard of him being good, despite him seemingly being around for ages. ←
britneyspearsisgod
I'm not that impressed with Crouch, but he is useful for a team like Southampton. However, Southampton got relegated. That proves Crouch isn't that great. And besides, the only way Crouch would be effective would be if you played long ball within the last 5-10 minutes of a game. And in a World Cup final, is that the best solution?
therockbox
If you're struggling to break down a defence, yes. And i fail to see how the "he's part of a team that got relegated." By that logic, Andy Johnson is also shit, which is just silly because one player can't save a team from relegation.
Liam
I think Crouch is 22...I swear he was only recently playing Under-21 football for England, so can't be that much older now.
The Slickman
Wait.. did Slickman just say Crouch has no skill? Okay. ←
Liam
Don't really need that when you are 6'7" and a clinical finisher (well....reasonably).
therockbox
Crouch actually has a good touch for a big man.
Colly
Only because none of his players could get into the England squad. That and he's a nob. ←
lanky316
So predictions for this one, just turned it on to see England 1 up so could be a sign of 2/3 - 0 type of game. Dunno who scored it though, law of the sod suggests it was AJ...
IAceI
Kieran Richardson. Of all of the players - him?
Guest Pirate Chasin' Booty
It was Richardson, I'll go for 2-0, its a shit England team afterall.
lanky316
Calamity James almost struck again there, nice free-kick from LD. Nice chance at the other end almost instantly. There's going to be goals in this one.

sahyder1
I'm missing the game because I'm watching the cricket game right now although the way Pakistan is playing I might have to consider changing my mind on that. This is the game Beckham was scheduled to miss right? Edited May 28, 2005 by sahyder1

FLiam
He scored 2 goals, fair do. But apart from that he hasn't done anything, one free kick and a tap in, but yeh, here is the next Pele. Lord Nibbler
K-Rich needs to score a header for the perfect hat trick. Edited May 28, 2005 by Jimmy the Exploder
AJ
I wouldn't have imagined Richardson playing for England this time last year let alone scoring twice. There are so many big players missing for England it's unbelievable. Yet they're still strolling to victory over the U.S.
therockbox
He bought Richardson off? The bastard. For Phil Neville, no less.
