Well i am not a Spurs fan but I don't really see a problem with using Friedel as a stopgap it gives Redknapp and the scouts another season to look for a goalie cause it's such an important position, United lost out big time by rushing in and making some dodgy keeping signings when they could have gotten in a veteran like Van Der Sar much earlier. Good signing

Leandro Damião looks good. 6'1 1/2", 22 goals in 24 games for Internacional. 21 years old and played in that international friendly against Scotland.

Definitely take him. Him and Sandro in the squad would be great.
