As to what I was coming to type, Gary Neville (whose commentary and analysis I normally find superb) keeps slating the ref for taking a second to make the calls on the penalties. Surely rather that than just making rubbish calls without consulting his assistants, who commentators are usually slating for not making decisions? All were within a second or two of the incident, which is the same threshold the GLT pilots are aiming for, so claiming he's 'losing his mind' is a tad harsh. I still love G Nev though.
