EWB's All-Time Favorite Album: 2012 Edition

The way I see it, I wouldn't use a greatest hits collection because I don't think it constitutes an album...but if you think it constitutes an album, then by all means you can put it up; it's your list!

Also, this is going to be really hard. I might just list my 20 favorite Mountain Goats releases instead.

I went off a lot by what iTunes and last.fm say are my top albums/tracks/artists. I then used that to figure out order, eliminate the last few I didn't want on the list, and then I just played with my top 20 a few times until I liked the way it looked.

That's my suggestion at least, to look at what software cites as your most-listened albums and then quickly ask yourself "do I really like it that much?"

I'm actually kinda more interested in rating every Mountain Goat release now. There's 14 "studio" albums, some demo releases, some cassettes, some splits, and then like 15 EPs/singles.

I think I found my project for when I'm done finals! Something only myself, Hobo, and Ollie will care about!
