Speaking of shows about tits, True Blood. After that wonderful time where everyone was like NUDE ANNA PAQUIN, NUDE LIZZY CAPLAN, I couldn't even imagine anyone even watching it anymore much less considering it a great show.

Hurray for QI! Genuinely one of the best shows on telly, and I watch it religiously.

True Blood is fucking awful. I can't believe how many people I know that swear by it. I can't understand how Twilight gets so much shit yet True Blood gets off with nothing. It's equally dire, but they've covered it up with sex so you don't notice. It's fucking horrendous. I tried to get through it when it was recommended to me, and I didn't last three episodes.

True Blood is the only one I've seen enough of to comment about here, and... yeah, it's not that good. Supposedly the books are better but if I didn't know that it was based off of books I'd think it was just someone's World of Darkness fanfiction. It's a shame that they had to waste a really cool opening sequence on such a mediocre show.

Also, the only interesting character in the series is actually a gay vampire, so Pesci and Walker can just STFU now.

Yeah, that opening credits sequence is good. HBO is almost always good at opening credits (exception: Entourage).

Also, a teaser for tomorrow's update; it will feature a show that was in last year's top ten. INTRIGUE.

Ok, I'm sorry I made light of homophobia in a way that has more to do with naivety and the culture I've grown up with than any ignorance. Let this be the end of it.

Oh True Blood was plenty of fun for the first two series. There's so much worse shit out there, I have a hard time understanding how people outright hate it. But hey, LOL TITS right?

Saying that it's gotten dire in the last two series, but the first two series were great fun.

Gravity Falls = Awesome. Almost made my list.

Once Upon a Time is hilariously bad.

QI: N/A

American Horror Story: Completely nuts, and that makes it fun. Not really a quality show though.

True Blood: A friend of mine wants to push this on me, I still resist.

I've heard good things about Gravity Falls but I don't tend to watch cartoons so I'm not sure if I'll get around to it. That said, with the amount of free time I have, I wouldn't be surprised if I do give it a shot.

I've been intrigued by Once Upon a Time but haven't gotten around to it. The negative reviews and opinions of it doesn't exactly give me a lot of hope but like I've said, since I have more free time, I could see myself giving it a shot.

Never heard of QI so can't comment.

I couldn't even finish the pilot for American Horror Story because I just found it dumb. I'm not a big horror fan in general so it's not that surprising that I wasn't into it and none of what I've seen in commercials or reviews has given me any indication that I wasn't correct.

True Blood was decent/pretty good for a couple seasons, as TKz has said, but it's definitely dropped in quality the last couple of seasons. One thing I have liked about this most recent season is that they've gone away from the love triangle...but that's about it. The fact that Alan Ball's no longer in charge will make me curious about the upcoming season but I'm not terribly optimistic. If you're in the market for a fun supernatural show, watch The Vampire Diaries because it is infinitely better.

True Blood is probably in the top 5 of reasons I completely gave up following what was on TV. It was the show everyone would recommend to me when I wanted something to watch and, wow, it is awful and appeared to be quite misogynistic (it seemed like a highly-produced rape porn) from the few episodes I did see. Going from that, I checked out American Horror Story with a friend because I had also been overwhelmingly recommended it and found it to be very dull.

Of that 5 I do feel I should give Gravity Falls a look though.

I loved True Blood for the first two seasons. I haven't given up on in in hopes that it will get better after these past couple of dreadful seasons. But yeah, it's not a show for everyone and it's certainly no longer has the charm it once did. But people knocking the series for having "one interesting character, a gay vampire" when they admittedly don't watch the show is pretty stupid. The gay black dude on the show is infinitely more interesting than the gay Vampire that lasted all of three or four episodes. Also, tits! :w00t:

EDIT: Thought you were referring to Eddie the overweight gay vampire who sold his blood. If you're talking about the Russel character, fair enough.

Gravity Falls was a surprisingly good show - but then again I watched the initial episode without knowing who was doing it. It's my second favorite in the Adventure Time/Regular Show/Gravity Falls trifecta of awesomeness.

American Horror Story I gave a try and then my head hurt, so I stopped.

True Blood hasn't been worth it for me at ALL since season 2 ended.

Count me among the many many people who really liked the first 2 seasons of True Blood and then thought it turned terrible.

Also Livid don't let people sway you on Once upon a Time. If the idea intrigues you then you should try it. I love it. I get that all people dont love all things but if you think it might be interesting chances are you will like it.

True Blood. I watched the entire first season in like 48 hours. Not because it was good, but because I was stuck alone with this person at their house for a few days and we realized we didn't actually have all that much in common. So, instead of hanging out we watched True Blood.

Heeeyyy! Forced to watch True Blood buddies, that's us! My friend and his girlfriend swear by it, and they put it in while I was over there one day - it was absolutely dreadful.

To be fair though, as bad as True Blood is, it's still better than the worst show I was ever forced to sit through, Ghost Whisperer.

True Blood is probably not the worst show ever! But I think I'm not going out on a limb by saying that every show in this five is better.
