I saw them a couple of years ago supporting Reel Big Fish. I wasn't that impressed.

From what I heard of it when they were on Later with Jools Holland the other day, it's not bad. Seems they've lost their bite a bit though.

Really? Is that why there's suddenly an animated video for every song from the album, if NME's constant news about them is to be believed?

I have only heard 'My God Is The Sun'. Decent track. Bit B-sideish. Josh Homme does struggle a bit to find hooks in his songs these days.

Well, no, they seemed to release half the songs on the album just 'cause (studio version or live performances). It's really good though. It's probably the most subdued thing they've done but I really enjoy it.

QOTSA I don't know about yet. Tracks 3, 4 and 5 stand out though.
