Bobfoc
It's a shame it didn't work out for Pearce. Genuine club legends are few and far between these days, and he had the backing of the fans and spoke a lot of sense in his press conferences. He's a vibrant figure and seems to be a decent motivator, but, sadly, his tactical nous seems to be lacking. Possible names being touted as a replacement include Dan Petrescu, whose only other job was a fairly poor stint in Qatar, and Tim Sherwood, whose appointment would surely spark numerous "Sherwood's Forest" puns in newspapers all over the nation. Adam
Petrescu has managed all over Europe, not just in Qatar. Not sure he's what Forest need mind.
Bobfoc
It's hard to see who they'll attract at this stage. The club is under a transfer embargo that will probably last for the next three transfer windows (including this one), and they've already prematurely sacked more than one manager since Fawaz Al-Hasawi took over. Fawaz seems like a fun-loving chap and interacts with the fans far more regularly than most chairmen do, but he's been rather naive with his decisions, which have done the club more harm than good. Sacking Sean O'Driscoll was probably a mistake, especially with the club verging on a play-off position, and re-hiring Billy Davies and letting him block out the media and hire his friends wasn't wise either. At this point, they might need to hope for a hidden gem to come along and get the team playing well again because there probably won't be too many high-profile managers itching to come aboard at the moment. Bobfoc
Dougie Freedman is the new Forest manager. Not the more inspiring choice, but he hasn't really had a great amount of time at any other club yet. Whether or not he could bring some stability in the long-term remains to be seen. Admin Lineker Posted February 1, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted February 1, 2015 Pearce is understood to be considering accepting an advisory role at the club. Huddersfield defender Tommy Smith has been discharged from hospital after treatment for a head injury suffered in his side's 2-1 home defeat by Leeds. Matt
It hardly seems fair that we have to play against 12 men every week.

Matt
http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/31359331 Rumours that Mark Warburton could be on his way out of Brentford. Done a great job and you'd like to think even that if a premier league club came knocking he'd remember which side his breads buttered.
