We might be signing Ched Evans. Our Facebook page is full of people from London saying "DO NOT SIGN HIM".

Fuck off, if Hartlepool want to sign him that's up to them, not some cockney who supports Chelsea or the other glory clubs nearby.

Bloody hell, if Hartlepool wont have you, there's not much hope left, is there?

Maybe a move abroad where this might not be such a massive issue? Some Turkish club needs to sign him up, they love our reject strikers.

Maybe if the guy showed a single shred of remorse about the whole situation he might still have a small chance of being employed by some club within the Football League.

And if he legally can't do that because he's trying to sort out some sort of retrial or appeal then he shouldn't be in the public eye anyway because it'll influence their decision.

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston has allegedly been involved in an angry exchange with a supporter of the club he reportedly called "a retard".
Oyston is alleged to have made the remark as part of a series of abusive messages between himself and the fan.
Blackpool were not available for comment on whether Oyston sent the messages, which have been widely reported over the last 24 hours.
The Football Association has said it is aware of the row.
Oyston, a member of the Football League Board, is also alleged to have told the supporter to "enjoy the rest of your special needs day out".
Blackpool Supporters Trust has issued a statement condemning the alleged texts from Oyston and called for an explanation.
The statement added: "Regardless of the context of the conversation, these are shocking sentiments to read from the chairman of a football club addressing a supporter.
"The language is wholly inappropriate from someone in a position of responsibility towards his customers and the community that Blackpool FC serves."
Oyston's weekly column in the Blackpool Gazette has been dropped by the newspaper.
Blackpool are currently bottom of the Championship and lost 6-1 at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.
The club, which was relegated after a one-season stay in the Premier League in 2011, appointed former Birmingham boss Lee Clark as manager at the end of October.
Clark replaced Belgian Jose Riga, who was appointed by Oyston in the summer but quickly fell out with the chairman over transfer policy.
Oyston's stewardship of Blackpool has regularly been criticised by a section of the Seasiders' supporters, who organised a walk-out in the 53rd-minute of Blackpool's home game against Cardiff City in October in recognition of the club's 1953 FA Cup success.

Karl Oyston should resign as chairman of Blackpool after sending abusive texts to a fan says club president and shareholder Valeri Belokon.
The Latvian, 54, is also urging Blackpool fans to write an open letter to Oyston condemning his behaviour.
Oyston has since apologised for the texts but the Football Association has yet to act on the matter.
Belokon told BBC Radio 5 live Sport that he intended to write to Oyston telling him "that maybe he should go".
In an interview that can be heard in full on 5 live Sport on Tuesday night, Belokon added: "I would like to invite Blackpool fans to write and sign an open letter for exclusion of such an attitude towards football fans."
Oyston, a member of the Football League's board of directors, is alleged to have called Blackpool fan Stephen Smith "a retard" and told the individual to "enjoy the rest of your special needs day out".
Belokon, who owns a 20% stake in Blackpool, also said:
  • He is "in shock" at the nature of the messages, which are "unacceptable" and embarrassing for the club.
  • Oyston's apology for sending the texts "is not from the heart" and indicates the views are indicative of his character.
  • The Football Association should review Oyston's suitability to be chairman of a football club.
  • He would be interested in buying the club from the Oyston family in the future and has the funds to do so.
  • He is keen to invest in the playing squad in January but "does not want money to go to the Oyston family".
This is not the first time that Belokon has been critical of Oyston, having been questioned the lack of investment in the playing squad during the summer.
The Seasiders are bottom of the Championship after 22 matches - 10 points adrift of safety - and have won twice in the league this season.
The BBC contacted Blackpool on Tuesday afternoon seeking a response from Oyston to Belokon's comments and is awaiting a reply.
