Tottenham as they have signed Colombia youth international Juan Pablo Gonzalez Velasco. The 17-year-old left Brentford’s academy when it closed down earlier this summer and has joined Tottenham’s U18 group. He made his debut in a 5-1 win over Aston Villa at the weekend.

Progress! <_<

Norwich have completed the signing of Benfica striker Nelson Oliveira for a reported fee of £4.2m.

Federico Macheda has left Cardiff City after his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

Fenerbahce have confirmed the signing of Jeremain Lens on a season-long loan from Sunderland. The Turkish side have an option to buy next summer.

Vicente Iborra's move to Sunderland is off, after Sevilla changed their mind about selling the midfielder. A £7.7m deal was agreed in writing at the end of last week and personal terms were also agreed with the player, however, the Spaniards have now had second thoughts. Sunderland are also set to miss out on Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason, who is close to joining Hull instead.

Make us sign someone Lineker.

Why? Who or what do Spurs actually need? Looking at the squad, you've got good cover in every position and role.

Tottenham don't need to sign anyone. They've got one of the most balanced squads in the Prem barring any injuries.

It's probably because you see other teams splashing the cash and signing people that sometimes fans are like "Why aren't we buying anyone?!?!"
